I was talking about film studies being boring. I mean as much as I love watching movies, it seems like if you were taking a class on it, you'd have to get in depth into it and the movies would probably be poor ones. IDK though, out of all of the ones you said that one sounds the best.
Heh, I guess we just have different academic interests :p

nobodyblossomsforever 03-30-2007 04:32 PM

Hehe, yeah I guess so. As much of a movie buff I am, I just couldn't see me having to watch a movie and then write reports on it and analyze every nook and cranny of the movie, assuming that's what it is, you feel me?

Which one looks the most interesting to you though?

Permanent Solution 03-30-2007 04:39 PM

tbqh, the class that fits in my schedule looks most interesting hah =\

Any of them definitely could be fun so I don't have a strong preference. The ones I most wanted to take (like African drumming) I can't put in my schedule so meh.

nobodyblossomsforever 03-30-2007 04:44 PM

I know it's not comparable to college really so it shouldn't be mentioned, but there's this stupid new rule that now Marching Band (which I've taken every year) no longer counts as a P.E. credit. Well, seeing as I've taken none of the classes that are counted as P.E., I'm screwed. I failed chemistry last semester, so I must take 2 sciences this year to graduate. Marching Band I am definitely taking, no questions asked, which would take up one elective, one of the sciences would take up another elective, then I'd have to take a P.E. course, another elective, then I have to choose between concert band (which my gf is in) and my favorite class, jazz band. I'm in kind of a pickle, but I'll probably be choosing concert band in the end just because jazz band isn't as great as I thought it would be anyway, since we haven't really played or done anything in a month.

BTW I just noticed that "splattered poofart" kind of rhymes with my username, lol.

Permanent Solution 03-30-2007 04:46 PM

At my school I got an academic waiver for one of my gym classes and my other ones were SCUBA/kayaking and team sports heh.

We had total freedom in our schedule making though heh.

nobodyblossomsforever 03-30-2007 04:50 PM

nobodyblossomsforever 03-30-2007 05:27 PM
Oo, good call on photography, I'll add that to my list. Might not be the easy A I'm looking for though, depending on the teacher =\

When I said film I meant film studies ie watch a lot of movies heh

haha, thanks. hi2u2 riley
meh it would be a very fun class imo

photography is sweet
im good man, us brads need to stay together. Its rough out there for a guy with a name as gay as brad.
sup brad
Regardless of which you're talking about...I think filmmaking would be a cool class but probably have too much work. Film studies would be cool because I really do feel out of touch with movie culture and in all seriousness, girls love movies so I think it is a serious fallacy to be as out of touch as I am.
123 i hate it i never watch movies anymore and every girl i talk to is like "omg have you seen [insert movie name here]?!" and its like "um nope i dont really watch movies" then the conversation dies because the dumb bitch lacks the intelligence to make any conversation up herself.

Pazz 03-30-2007 06:03 PM

I go to the movies too much. This is my first friday at home in a long time, and I chose to stay home. I was offered to go to the movies.

DJ Ducksauce 03-30-2007 06:08 PM

Before 300 the last movie I went to the theaters for was PotC2.

I'm gonna have a fun schedule next year.

AP ABBC Calculus
AP English IV
APGov/Pre-AP Econ
Anatomy and Physiology
Tennis
Band

If tennis doesn't work out, then it's AP Bio or choir.

Pazz 03-30-2007 06:13 PM

Umm, the movies I've seen that I can remember (this is the past 5 weeks):
TMNT
The Number 23
Norbit
Wild Hogs
Music & Lyrics
Reno 911

I know there is more. I think I'm forgetting two.

My schedule next year should be fun too.
Uni Advanced Functions
Uni Mathematics of Data Management
Uni Geometry and Algebra
Uni English
Uni/Col Accounting
Uni/Col Religion

Then I have my two spares.:)

B 03-30-2007 06:17 PM

i downloaded 300 havent watched it yet

i hope you were kidding whne you said that should be fun

it looks like hell to me :p

lol I was kidding:p. And on top of that, I'm aiming for a 90% average next year so I can get some nice scholarships. I bet I don't make the 90% average though. If I wasn't taking religion, maybe. I always get like high 70's in that class.

But next year will be fun and hell at the same time. I will have so much homework it won't even be funny. And on top of that I will be driving 20 minutes each morning and after school. Then on the days that I work, I'm just going to hang in B-ville somewhere until 4:30 and go get some dinner then work, because I don't feel like leaving Canadian Tire. But I will always have a car which means I can go out for lunch whenever I want to.:)

cobert 03-30-2007 06:25 PM

GTA IV is going to kill.

B 03-30-2007 06:26 PM

90% average would rape me

i could do it but i would die afterwards or even during

i almost failed religon last year rofl

this year i got like 68 without doing my isu so i had like 76 or so i guess

GTA games are fun but theyre getting really repeptitive

the only good part is the new places basically.

lol. 90% means I would have to put everything into it. But with 3 math courses and accounting, those are all classes I could probably get a 90% in. English depends on the teacher. If I can get Ms Hurley again, I easily got a 90. Then religion will be the death of me. If I could get Ms Heffernan again and was put in a class that was 75% retards, I would be able to get a 85 or so.

Actually, I've heard most of the teachers are good. The only ones I'm not overly excited about are Gov/Econ.

The Calc teacher is great, I've heard good things about Anatomy, and same with English. I've been taking Tennis and band since freshman year, so no worries there. :)

Accounting is such an easy course. And with Mr Davis as the teacher, it only makes it easier. He doesn't assign homework. He has like 15 minute lessons then the rest of the class to work on homework.

English is pretty easy, but Hurley is the easiest teacher ever. I'm praying not to get Mr. D.

Ms McKinley is a bitch of a teacher for religion. She's such a hard marker.

B 03-30-2007 06:36 PM

you havent had a hard marker until youve had mrs fenton/murray w/e the hell she calls herself now the dumb hoe

its rediculous she wants like university quality work from a 40 minute high school assignment

haha, I had her for about 3 days then switched out of her class.
She asked the class if people were there for the credit, and I raised my hand and made a comment about needing my social science credit. Then she told me I got my social science credit from world religions I'm taking right now. So I told her she wouldn't be seeing me the next day. And then I took grade 10 business instead lol.

rofl yeah shes a tool

Pazz 03-30-2007 06:41 PM

She really is. Those were like the worst three days. And when I was waiting for my classes to change I had to sit through one last boring lesson, so I just turned on my music loud and slept.

B 03-30-2007 06:43 PM

for the first like two weeks of her class she wouldnt get me a ****ing desk and made me sit on the floor

needless to say i used my jacket as a pillow and slept

Pazz 03-30-2007 06:44 PM

lmfao. you had to literally sit on the floor? thats retarded.

ugh, the downside of having your g2. doing the coffee run for the parents. the plus side, i can get a coffee too.

Eliminator 03-30-2007 06:47 PM

i had a music teacher in gradeschool with the last name gaylord
