I'm having a hard time finding it on the intraweb to get in Canada, lots of the stores ship only to the US and Europe.

Exactly, just the same as The Vandals are a basicially a punk band and Rancid is basicially a punk band. The only thing that really defines hardcore is it's faster, more agressive than your standard punk band.

Personally I just call Dead Kennedys a punk band but they were in that era when hardcore was popular.

Anyways Siege, Deep Wound, Void, DRI and Die Kreuzen are my favourite hardcore bands.

I haven't heard them, but i may check them out.

Adolescnets are probs my fave hardcore punk band from that era.
