Yeah that's what Dave said. There was a guy infront of me asking when they were going to your Tecate or TJ. Oh well, I was thinking for a minute that I talked to a MX'r out of MX.

Off topic-do you go to school in America? There are some kids from Mexico that actually get to go to my school.

Nah, i'm focusing on a medical career, wich is better here in Mexico.

Do you remember what was Megadeth's and Dream Theater's setlist?

No, at the time I wasn't familiar with many Dream Theater songs. And they didn't play any I recognized. But for Megadeth I remember they played:
Wake Up Dead
Hangar 18
Holy Wars
Peace Sells
Symphony of Destruction
Sweating Bullets
The Scorpion
Blackmail the Universe
Kick the Chair

Those are all I can remember.

I think I'll have to go onto Megadeth's forum and ask around. I'm pretty sure there is someone there who saw them and got their setlist.

Lord Abortion 01-17-2006 11:34 AM

If you look around this thread, the set from where I saw them on the BTU tour will be there somewhere.

fuzzyhair 01-17-2006 08:57 PM

Can't imagine the BTU would be much different to the Gigantour one.

Lord Abortion 01-18-2006 02:04 PM

Would be a bit longer, I would say, the set I saw was 18 or so songs.

Josh 01-18-2006 03:54 PM

hopefully they'll come back to the UK again now, even though originally they said they wouldn't after last summer. i really want to see them, i missed out last year, i wasn't a huge fan at the time.

Lord Abortion 01-19-2006 04:38 AM

It was all my favourite songs...sweating bullets, tornado of souls, symphony, a tout le monde, Back in the day, the scorpion, wake up dead, of mice and men, skin o' my teeth... hangar 18...
and an Encore of Peace sells/mechanix and then the mastery of Holy wars.
Brilliant gig.

Any chance you have that on video?

BLS_Infernus 01-19-2006 03:32 PM

ah man I so have to get Dave's Seymour Duncan Live Wire set when it comes out for my DV-8

my favorite live preformance is when I went to see them in 1996 and they did an acoustic version of Use the Man with Time (Beginning) at the beginning of it. Just like there live CD other then the acoustic stuff sounding much better and Dave's vocals being better

Aw3someman 01-19-2006 03:34 PM
Any chance you have that on video?
I wish.

Lord Abortion 01-19-2006 03:52 PM

That version of use the man would be great.

A tout le monde was brilliant live.
