pimp c already used the free falling sample too, wtf, koopa should know better

niobium 09-07-2009 09:37 PM

****'s amazing

Tits McGee 09-07-2009 10:03 PM

goddamn what a terrible song. the free fallin sample is just ****ing cheesy

Rams 09-07-2009 10:20 PM

For how amazing Ultimate Victory was, I can't believe he'd resort to this type of ****. Almost as bad as a guy named Chamillionaire not knowing what a dollar sign looks like ("Always been about those horizontal lines through them 'S's / that's a dollar sign, Impala flying, watch how she undresses"). Oh well.

Black Milk apparently got into some Beatminerz.

holy **** royce

illmitch 09-11-2009 07:32 AM

reminds me of the Jay-Z line about the sun revolving around the earth, or the Redman line about how every song of his is 5 mics, so an album of 12 songs is 36 mics

iarescientists 09-11-2009 11:09 AM

lol just found this for more hip-hop faux-pas

illmitch 09-11-2009 11:21 AM

there's also the Canibus line "i can double my density from three-sixty degrees to seven-twenty instantly"

he does a great job at pretending to be intelligent but ****ing it up

Rams 09-11-2009 04:06 PM

Density measured in degrees? Canibus you broke my heart.

C.O.A. 09-11-2009 06:04 PM

wow lol

kingsoby1 09-11-2009 08:11 PM

well he didn't state degrees specifically; he could actually mean kg/m^3

niobium 09-11-2009 09:52 PM

kingsoby do you like first avenue? that would be a close knit show for hip-hop

StreetlightRock 09-12-2009 04:40 AM

anyone checked out charli 2na's latest? (The deep voice guy from J5). It's pretty dope.

kingsoby1 09-12-2009 06:34 AM

everyone has something they hate about hip-hop, and for me it's J5.

yeah niobium, first ave is a tight venue. they have this really gay hipster dance night, but otherwise it's cool.

illmitch 09-12-2009 11:30 AM

there are a few things i hate about hip hop, but J5 is definitely up there

Led_Zep_Bonham 09-12-2009 01:33 PM

J5: the soft rock of hip hop.

niobium 09-13-2009 02:00 AM

lol haiku d'etat

Jawaharal 09-13-2009 03:39 PM

****in quasimoto

niobium 09-16-2009 09:26 AM

i like some haiku though it's just ridiculous if you've heard it

pretty funny

kingsoby1 09-16-2009 10:07 AM

ya it's super fast and just novelty

Rams 09-16-2009 07:06 PM

So what are the actual good tracks on Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2 so I don't have to sift through all the **** they felt the need to put on there? What a disappointing album.

niobium 09-16-2009 07:22 PM

i don't know what to tell you? probably pick some songs by producer

horseypie 09-16-2009 07:24 PM

i really like new wu, kiss the ring, the two dre songs, ason jones, black mozart, and house of flying daggers. the others blend into each other a bit but thats not a bad thing

Jawaharal 09-16-2009 08:08 PM

i basically like all of them =/

kingsoby1 09-16-2009 08:39 PM

10 bricks is the only one i've really come back to often, even if i've heard the beat a thousand times from the jaylib album.

ATM 09-17-2009 01:52 PM

Cold Outside is a sick track.

Txus 09-17-2009 03:54 PM

Black Mozart is my favorite.

The whole album is amzing.

sgrevs 09-17-2009 07:48 PM

Yeah album really rules. Meth's appearances on the album are so so good.

Glitterati 09-17-2009 08:47 PM

I saw him live this summer with a bunch of other people. He was ok but nothing about his act made me think "after this I'm going to actively seek out his music".

The only Jurassic 5 song I ever really liked was What's Golden.
