Yeah, I knew they were fairly new.
I'm quite sure he doesn't.
im 10000000000000000000000000% sure he does. you see it in the dvds. |
I wonder what Mark, Tom and Travises kids are gonna be like. Like all there parents are extremely rich, so I hope they aren't completely spoilt.

Yup. You win.
I wonder what Mark, Tom and Travises kids are gonna be like. Like all there parents are extremely rich, so I hope they aren't completely spoilt.
Well..They most likely might end up that way. Hopefully not though, not everyone who's born into money is spoiled. |
The only thing that will determine that is how their parents bring them up. It is judged by that not money. I doubt those guys wouldnt teach their kids proper morale values, but hey..I dont know them.
|
I think Travis' kids are going to be brought up a lot like he is now. If you see his kid, he has a mohawk and he's like 5(well his step-son). Travis' kids will probably be the worst of them all.
I didn't say they didn't deserve it. They do. If they can make music that appeals to the masses like they have then all the power to them. I'm saying that you can't not care. If they say they don't care, that's nice. Tom also says AAA will be the best band ever. Doesn't mean he's telling the truth. I'm sure they care a bit. You wouldn't make music if you didn't care. They've never had to worry about that though because there's always been people who liked them. And for a good reason.
Yes, it was your point. You said that "None of us are professional musicians". What does that have to do with our ability to judge how good they play?
...No it wasn't. I'm not trying to start an argument here, but I'm going to try and explain this one more time. They care about success and having fans and all of that, but they do not care about the opinions of people who don't listen to and/or don't like them for whatever reason. That is what I was getting at, they don't care about what non-fans think, and why should they. |
Enough! No More Fuckin' Bullshit! Stop Arguing About That, It's Over!

:lol: :lol:
Im quite sure your wrong, 10000% sure.
He has "Skye" on one wrist and "Jake" or "jack" i forget on the other.
Haha, well excuse me. I just thought he didn't. I know in the "All The Small Things" video he has a tattoo making fun of 98 Degrees. :lol: |
I wonder what Mark, Tom and Travises kids are gonna be like. Like all there parents are extremely rich, so I hope they aren't completely spoilt.
i reckon it would be so dam wierd relising when ur 15 like so many people praised your dad as a idol all around the world... and like he was in a awsome band and all that> because in 15 years that all blink 182 would have passed... it just be wierd to find our about your dads history |
Surely during the ages of 11 and 15 they would listen to Blink. Surely. If I was Mark, Tom or Travis I would force it upon them.
|
Yeah, I'd be like "hey check out this band, they're heaps good..."
But it's not like they wouldn't have realised beforehand. |
I kinda envy them and pity the kids. But alot of my opinion depends on what there plans are for raising there kids. None of us personally know them, so it's hard to say.
|
I dont think Blink will encourage their kids to listen to Blink when they are 11, considering they swear in most songs and talk about dicks and stuff, I mean lets face it, I doubt your parents would be very happy if you were 11 and you let your parents hear The Mark, Tom and Travis Show would they lol?
Na I think the kids will discover Blink themselves |

Na I think the kids will discover Blink themselves
ha reminds me off a time after a 21st i was about 12 and a 18 year old offered us a ride home as my parents had been drinking. Do they accepted well anyways he had mark tom and travis show playing and it was the song before family reunion i was so scared as to what they would think of blink 182.Lucky he relised just before the cd came on wooh... thats my life story. |
I used to be scared of playing the songs with swear words in them...now I don't really care. Except one time not too long ago Media Player was on random, and my uncle walked in, and Tom screamed "masturbation" or something. It was horrible.
|
My parents are fine with swears and stuff so they don't really care.
It's kind of uncomforatable listening to a song with sexual innuendos around them, but they actually like the same kind of music I do, so they probably feel exactly the same way. The only reason I ever came to like bands like The Offspring and Blink is because my parents loved them. They're the old school fans. |
Well it would be a bit hypocritical of Blink if they keep there kids away from swearing and stuff.

My parents like classical and country music :barf:, To them Blink is probably just fast noise.
To guitarists, Travis is a good drummer as he keeps good time.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ P.S. im not really that scary:) |
Woah, you've managed to quadruple post in this thread and in the Alkaline Trio thread. Try to avoid that. It's unnecessary, and annoying. Use the edit button.
There hasn't been an MCR thread in a while because they aren't really well-liked here. |
Ahh Christmas. It's tradition for me to play the "I Won't Be Home For Christmas" CD when everyone is opening their presents on Christmas morning.
|
That song is actually quite funny if you hear the lyrics.
