That site's sweet! I'm totally gonna make a trooper shirt.
Thanks.

Could somebody make an eyeball stencil for my "NSA IS WATCHING YOU" shirt?
I am making one. It'll be hard, but I hope it comes out good. I'm only doing this because I got frustrated with trying to understand histograms, on any other day I would probably say Do-It-Yourself. ;)

coheneran 05-15-2006 10:44 AM

I've made it Led, it has some island that need lookin' at, but I figured you can do that. I have a version on Photoshop and a version on MSPaint. How do I attach?

Danger Bird 05-15-2006 07:15 PM

I don't understand the question.

coheneran 05-15-2006 07:23 PM

Attach a file to my post so youze can download it.

BCT 05-15-2006 09:06 PM

i am finnally going to start the bob barker stencil. that i told one of my friends i was going to do a long time ago . i love the price is right

Danger Bird 05-16-2006 07:54 AM

There are no attachments, you have to use Photoshop.

I'm starting to get used to using a roller, but it's really hard. The paint keeps just going on the stencil, and not making it through the hole to the actual fabric. I guess I just have to press really really hard.

Today my order from interpunk should arrive, which contains a DK patch for my badly-in-need-of-a-patch shoes.

You want me to email it to you? It's not that good, but it's hard to do a single-layered eye stencil. It doesn't really have a noticeable pupil, but you can see it's an eye.

POINTLESS5448 05-16-2006 10:05 AM

im going to make that defiance, ohio stencil they have on stencilpunks with the dead bird on it. i dont know what else to make.

Find a picture of someone you hate (preferably someone famous), photoshop it into a stencil, modify it comically/symbolically, print, glue on card, cut, spray. Laugh.

Golan 05-16-2006 08:24 PM

Whats the number one method for spraying on a flat surface? Like...materials and that stuff.

yeah yeah yeah
if i were to do it, it would suck, and bretts crazy good at doing layered stencils of people and whatnot.

Usually, I find that applying pressure to the top of the nozzle and aiming it at said surface gets the job done. start up from about a foot away, and then bring it in closer until it's at the right distance to spray evenly and clearly.

Practice makes perfect dude. Maybe I will try a multi-layered stencil once I finish my current project.

Umm...flat surface? Hold the can like..30 cm's away from the surface, and spray slowly all over the stencil, teh keep going until theres a nice think coat on there.

But make sure it doesn't drip.

Oh, I'm sorry, I mean you have to use photobucket. My mistake, sorry.

coheneran 05-17-2006 08:13 AM

Ok, here it is, but it's pretty crap.

i have a 2 layer dead kennedys stencil that i have yet to spray on anything. i think im going to spray it on my deck but im all out of spraypaint at the moment.

coheneran 05-17-2006 10:06 AM

Spraypaint is so damn expensive, it really pisses me off.

POINTLESS5448 05-17-2006 10:07 AM

its like $2 a can for the cheapest one which is hte one i use. i like it and its not that its expensive its that it doesnt last very long.

coheneran 05-17-2006 10:36 AM

Mine cost £5, but I have a feeling I was ripped off.

asdf 05-17-2006 03:04 PM

For the wall I want to paint I want to try spraypaint, but I don't see my dad letting that happen. Since he paints houses for a living, he's probably going to see something very wrong with me using cheap spraypaint on his nicely done wall. And besides, he's allready got cans of paint for me to use.

POINTLESS5448 05-17-2006 04:29 PM

if you have the good **** you might as well use it.

coheneran 05-17-2006 04:54 PM
if you have the good **** you might as well use it.
I know, I would, but I don't know how to roll and I can't be bothered to make a bong.
if you have the good **** you might as well use it.
Yeah, that's true. Plus I've never used spraypaint, so I'd likely mess up. The thing is, I wouldn't really have that much variety. He has a lot of black and white, and maybe a little bit of red left over from my room, but that's it. I kind of want more colors, since I want to do some good layered stuff.

good rats 05-17-2006 04:54 PM

I just use the cheap stuff. Aus Exports.
They are alright. The silver is good, the black is good, but there whites and yellows and reds are runny as hell.

I wanna try some Montana sometime.

Plus, I'm also working on a couple of 1 or so metre high stencils, I'm going to spray them on the street maybe.

he probably has all the hookups though so he could get you more and in tons of different colors.
