Hah, that was low. |
So I'm giving my parents a list of cd's to get me for christmas. I think I put enough on there; they are going to have a hard enough time finding them anyway. :p
Here's the list so far, and it has more to come: Andromeda – II=I Strapping Young Lad – SYL Emperor – In the Nightside Eclipse Sigur Ros – Angels of the Universe Yo-Yo Ma – Plays Ennio Morricone The Arcade Fire – Funeral Autolux – Future Perfect Daemon – Eye Foe An Eye Sentenced – Anything Cynic - Focus Gordian Knot – Gordian Knot Gordian Knot - Emergent Pagan's Mind – Infinity Divine Pagan's Mind – Celestrial Entrance Death – Symbolic Death – Human Frank Gambale – Show Me What You Can Do Anouar Brahem – Le Pas du Chat Noir Disillusion – Back to Times of Splendor Grimfist – Ghouls of Grandeur Into Eternity – Buried In Oblivion Porcupine Tree – Signify Porcupine Tree – In Absentia Ring of Fire – Oracle The Guitars that Rule the World – The Guitars that Rule the World Volume I Bal Sagoth – Atlantis Ascendant Demons and Wizards – Demons and Wizards Bela Fleck – Bela Fleck and the Fleckstones Atheist – Unquestionable Presence Ikon – Flowers for the Gathering Oratory – Beyond Earth Testament – The New Order Warmen – Beyond Abilities Borknagar – Empiricism Borknagar – Quintessence Arcturus- Sham Mirrors Agalloch – The Mantle Emperor – In the Nightside Eclipse Carpathian Forest – Defending the Throne of Evil Cryptopsy – Whisper Supremacy Frederik Thorendal's Special Defects – Sol Niger Within, Version 3.33 Dissection – Storm of the Light's Bane By the way, I'll end up getting about 2-3 of these. :D |

Atheist – Unquestionable Presence
If your parents find one of these for you, I'm afraid you'll have to die. |
I'm just asking everyone for gift certificates to Amazon. That way I can wait for the music to come around if it's not there and also buy cheap to get more.
I always just ask for money. Uninventive though it is, I like to be able to choose myself.
The only trouble with that is that people are willing to spend more money on you than they will give you. The answer is gift certificates.
Never seems to work out like that for me. Besides, if I get gift certificates, you can bet I'll just want to buy things from some place that doesn't accept them.
I have a list of about 25 CD's I want for Christmas, but I'll probably only get like half :(
Oh well. So I just heard the Linkin Park/Jay Z business. It is mighty cool but a little sucky. Especially when the Jay Z background music is used under LP vocals.
I just asked for a xbox, Ill need it when I move out.
So I'm ready to experience Lykathea Aflame but can't find any online. Anyone care to help?
Yep, I can send you some of their album, or you can download it from me, whichever you prefer.
Gift certificates are nice when I get them, but when I buy them for other people it feels like such a huge cop-out. I always feel like I'm just covering my *** when I do that because it's true, I rarely actually know what the person I'm getting the gift for would want.
In that kind of situation, I tend to buy them something that I would want, in the hopes of making them like it and therefore making them more like me (you know, a better person). The album I'm most enjoying at that time, for example.
