This is a very solid album. It sounds like the instrumentals of shoegaze/post-rock flung together with a deep voiced post-punker trying to move along as melodically as the music itself. Terrific vocals along with the pounding drums really drive the music and bring it all together. The overall result is a very tight, cohesive, and well made record. Definitely one I'm picking up on it's release (July 5).[/quote]

I've only listened to MMJ so far though, but is fecking great. I'm blown away. A lot better than I expected it to be.

My Morning Jacket & Drive By Truckers are 2 good bands (I'll go so far as saying they're underrated). Very solid s[COLOR=Black]h[/COLOR]it they put out.

[I]Astral Weeks[/I] & [I]Moondance[/I] are probably Van's best albums. Well [I]Astral Weeks[/I] and [I]Hard Nose the Highway [/I] are his best, but [I]Moondance[/I] comes very close behind.

[I]It Still Moves[/I] is a quality record. You should get [I]At Dawn[/I] if you like that.

[i]It Still Moves[/i] is a pretty solid album. I recommend it.
