ive been trying to make some music on FL Studio but its hard without a MIDI keyboard and its even harder with only a demo version of Toxic Biohazard. can someone explain to me how to add a plugin that i download from the internet and have it actually work? im retarded

hmm let's see

you download the VST , which would probably be like a .dss file or some sort of database file like that I think ? then you go into program files -> image line -> fruit loops studio all the way to a folder that says plugins, and you copy and paste the file into there.

Then in FL go to menu Channel -> Add One -> More... and it opens up a list of all they plugins you have, press refresh and the one you added should appear on the list in red. And there should be a checkbox by it, which you click on . At least I think that's the basic idea of it .

Yeah I haven't done anything in a while. I want to get a band together and start working with other people and real instruments, something with an actual structure that isnt entirely built around beats made on a computer. Something still progressive and weird in nature but maybe in a more rock and roll format.

But then there's also a part of me that really wants to throw together a few new beats or remixes to pass the time.

I used to have two bands in High School after that a couple of the members and friends in those bands went to europe and another of them went to LA so we couldn't play anymore after that I really got into IDM/Dubstep and Noise and I brought a Synth, I made a bunch of music and then idk i guess life got in the way and I haven't done anything since like december 2008.

Having a band is pretty neat, but yeah, I don't think I have that much time right now plus I don't know much people areound here that plays music, I would like a Grind band.
