Some guy around here is getting 5 years in jail for fraud related to the election. He doesn't have to go to jail, however, until March 20th or so because he broke his ankle and needs time for it to heal. I bet anyone without a lot of money wouldn't get that kind of treatment.

I know most use G1 or equivalent for reso's & someone made a thread about coated reso's, but wouldnt a thicker ply resonate even longer since technically its more mass which will stay in motion longer?

But wouldn't it take more effort to put it in motion in the first place?

Well, unfortantely there aren't many thicker 1 ply heads to try from *shrug*

I would imagine the tone would be thicker/lower and depending on how you tune it and play, yes it should hold a lil longer. Though I don't think it would be noticable.

If you hit pretty hard, you may find the thinner reso heads choking, that's been a case for myself anyway.

G1's or G2's. Both will be over G1's, and will be coated...

Interesting, I bought some Pin's hoping for that good in-home thump & just switched my G2's over as Reso's, tuned the Pins down to just above wrinkle & reso's pretty loose to and to be honest, they aren't ANY more dull than G2's over G1's?

Then I cranked the reso's a little tighter to see what happened, it took some resonance out, but they still are quite full & open.

I know I dont want to try Hydro's, but how does everyone come up with Pin's are dead, I just dont see it.
