Go on Happy, spill em.

2muchket! 08-16-2007 08:36 AM

My only saviour is to work my arse off next year. **** getting a job I want to go to uni.

Squirrel 08-16-2007 08:54 AM

You can still get As/Bs from those grades, especially with a retake or two.

Jev 08-16-2007 08:58 AM
Go on Happy, spill em.
Don't wanna really, maybe i will after my retakes get me some better grades.
What was shocking though was that my grades were nowhere near the lowest, one of my friends got 4 U's. He's not stupid, our teaching sucks.

2muchket! 08-16-2007 09:01 AM

The way I see it is that I've got another year to turn this around. Getting C's isn't that bad anyway. With a few retakes and some graft I should be fine. I think your in the same boat as me Jev.

I was expecting the history one anyway. My teacher wasn't exactly the best.

Squirrel 08-16-2007 09:04 AM

Hahah, kids blaming their teachers for their results.

19inch poloriod HDTV, the picture qaulity is 1000 times better then on my old 14inch portable tele, and my 360 picture just looks stunning now.

The_Passenger 08-16-2007 09:56 AM

How much did that cost? Looks pricey but pretty neat all the same.

£220.

Ive been after a new tv for a while, and ive worked a lot of over time this month.

My mum made me feel better about getting one as she said as ive done so much overtime there's no reason not to treat myself.

Surtr 08-16-2007 09:58 AM
back at school, no staying up late :(
Heh,

How'd that go?

Dr Hooch 08-16-2007 10:03 AM
Hahah, kids blaming their teachers for their results.
It's a mix of the 2; if you're smart you can do well whatever the teacher's like so long as you work hard; if the teacher's good and you're smart you can do well without working too hard, but if it doesn't come naturally to you and you have a bad teacher you face a real uphill battle.
