Remixes are annoying almost all of the time, unless your name is Merzbow, then it's ok to do remixes.

I can't even force myself to like power metal. All the bands sound incredibly gay to me.

Anyone else really digging that 'In Mourning' album that was recently reviewed? This is pretty dam[size=2]n[/size] good in general, let alone a debut.

Yeah, that's the problem I face too most of the time.
So I do't really feel like giving it a try.

I prefer my drone and doom.

I'm the opposite.
I really enjoy the emotion and atmosphere in doom/drone and to some extent black metal.
Death and grind is more straight forward imo.

Each to his own I guess. :)

There are weeks, when i listen to power metal, then to melodic death oder just doom stuff;
In the last 2months i mostly listened to Drone, Abmient, Doom ... since 3/4days i am full into this "straight forwards" kind of music -> Cannibal Corpse, Nasum, ****... I'm Dead, etc.
