Dude, your dad should contact Dark Throne.

/Edit. It says 'Something About The Devil.'

superpeer 05-18-2005 03:13 PM

Yeah, he's really good at it. He keeps saying everyone can do it though, I don't believe it.

Thor 05-18-2005 03:18 PM

MXican is 12? Hahahaha.

Oh wait, I'm 15. Not much of a big difference there.
Well, we've always been equals. We've trained together and we've been good friends. But it's about the game now, so I'll have to poison his food.

PS: My dad makes really grim drawings.

That really is a sweet drawing, dude. I wish I could draw like that. Stick figures are about all I'm good at. :thumb:

Why are you hating on Metallica? MXican had one at one point, I'm pretty sure.

Six Foot Revolver 05-18-2005 03:25 PM

I indeed did have a Metallica avatar at one point

Thanks Joe, I love you too :-*

And Jelly you crazy Belgian I'm 15 :p
That song is my favorite black metal song...

Tons of atmosphere, melody and very good vocals. Glad to see you guys are covering it, it is a black metal anthem...

Also is your drummer going to be able to handle the song? Same with the vocalist?
we are going to some changes as far as drummers go, but as it looks now, the dude that will be palyinf drums, is cpaable of doing that.

vocals are a bigger problem, although, 3 people in my band can do vocals.

I'm really curious how this will work out

Saying that MoP and AJFA are bad is a pretty bold statement. Can you give me some reasons as to why?

Mainly because :

A. One sucks.
B. Master Of Puppets (which i do own), gets boring after about 2 listens.
C. Lars Ulrich is the WORST drummer ever. Ever. Ever. He cant stay in time ATALL!

I think thats enough.

Well, I guess that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I will agree that Lars Ulrich is a bad drummer, but not as bad as you say he is.

What music do you listen to then?

Arucard 05-18-2005 03:36 PM

Well on my listening list at the minute :

Arcturus
Arsis
All That Remains
Avenged Sevenfold
At The Gates
Bridge To Solace
Trivium
Spawn Of Possesion
DragonForce
Symphony X
Richard Andersons Space Oddeysey

Mainly that.

Arucard 05-18-2005 03:38 PM

OmG! YOu spaMeZOr!

AntiHero, you should know better man.

I get to see Arcturus and you dont Superpeer!

Thor 05-18-2005 03:41 PM

Dragonforce is a great band. I haven't heard a ton of their material, but what I have heard I really enjoyed.

I also am trying to get into Symphony X because lots of people around here seem to like them. Any suggestions on what I should check out from them?

Bartender 05-18-2005 03:41 PM
I heard its supposed the the best prequel.
That wouldn't really be difficult.

Superpeer - tell your dad he's fooling himself; not everyone can draw like that. They were good (especially the first one, I think).

lunch998 05-18-2005 03:41 PM

Clint Eastwood = pwnage.

Hey, wasn't Iai going to do 100 greatest modern rock bands or something, or was that scrapped? Because YDload just made a 100 greatest bassists nomination thread.

Iai is going to do his after YD's is through, I believe. I think the two of them discussed it, and came to some general consensus.

Should I put together a Greatest Songwriter poll before someone comes up with a greatest drummer poll?
The Downward Spiral is definitely their best album, in my opinion. The Fragile suffers from classic double album problems, in that it's too long, and could have had stuff cut from it, without really losing much. With Teeth is growing on me, but I'm still undecided just how good it is, even though it has some really outstanding moments on. Right Where It Belongs is absolutely freaking incredible.
I prefer Pretty Hate Machine the most, which puts me in the minority (seems to be the pattern in my life)

So anyway, I finally did stuff with my friend today (and yeah, that chick IS his girlfriend...pretty hot, if I say so myself). At about noon-ish I got a hair cut (, nappy no more!) and then I went to his place and we smoked a bowl in his basement (his basement is the pwn, plus it had been a few weeks since I had smoked, I'm getting really sporadic about that) and generally just dicked around (watched "Clerks" the movie on DVD and jammed for a little while) and then went into Boston and went into all the guitar and used CD stores we could find

I had more to add, but my train of thought just derailed.
