We get alot of spam, and in a community this size it doesn't help matters.
Lot's of the rules are just common sense though, unfortunately this place seems to attract people who have none :-/
There's only about 5 pages in the Jazz/funk forum anyway, so you should be alright there :p

Also, welcome to MX.

Bear in mind that Jazz & Funk is a different forum to R&M, so the rules here don't necessarily apply there (at least, not all of them). They should still be a good guide though. The mod there is a good guy.

I shouldn't imagine you'd ever have trouble finding something to post in about Miles there anyway. Also, congratulations on having found the rules thread. Most people seem to miss it.
