And instead of working on my Sociology of Marriage and Family paper that is going to take some major work and remembering and trying to get info from my crappy notes, I watch Law and Order: SVU

SantaDuJuan 05-20-2006 11:33 PM

Law and Order?
I wasted my History test grade on YouTube.com

Just rip-off some Emma Goldman essays.

Danger Bird 05-21-2006 10:21 AM

I don't like where this thread is going.

AHX was pretty good though.

Congratulations! DINGDINGDING! :chug: :smash:

Are you in London yet? I know you appreciate folk music, and tonight at the Square there's acoustic night, which has kickarse music. It's one of the best music events I've ever heard, and it's probably second to last one, seeing as we're getting shut down soon.

sketchyjoe 05-21-2006 10:38 AM

I'm not back in London 'til tommorrow.

Brain Toad 05-21-2006 03:00 PM

I just slept 11 hours. I must've been tired.

gastery6 05-21-2006 04:16 PM

Thats not nice to say

AIRIC 05-21-2006 04:23 PM

Haha owned faggot get back to hardcore.

Brain Toad 05-21-2006 05:40 PM

Procrastination isn't smart kids, don't do it.

Especially when you have no idea what you actually have to do.

POINTLESS5448 05-21-2006 07:09 PM

my friend cbass has a rental car at the moment because his truck is getting a new engine so we've been having a little fun with it. its a little ****ty chevy. i dont know what its called but its really small and it must barely have any tread left on the tires. we almost did a 360 in this church parking lot yesterday and we did a 180 into my neighborhood the other night. we went off roading, used the ebrake as much as humanly possible, and pretty much doing everything youve ever wanted to do to your car. i love insurance.

Brain Toad 05-21-2006 10:51 PM

Finished my paper after working on it for 7 hours.

It ended up being 7 pages long, even though the teacher said 3-5 would be enough.

coheneran 05-22-2006 05:32 AM

Coming up to 17,000 post count Nick.

The acoustic night at the squat last night was the best show I've ever seen! Amazing artists, and then at midnight we started a two-hour jam where absolutely EVERYONE was joining in. I met a bunch of awesome people and got to see my friend Ashley who I haven't seen in a long time. Also, I don't even remember how many joints were passed my way that night, but on the way to the night-bus station I was improv-rapping to a reggae/riddim/ska beat in my head. And I wrote quite a bit as well, it's a very inspiring event. If anyone is in London in two weeks' time, don't miss it, as it will be the last one.

Look what someone texted me:
The government announced today that it is changing its emblem to a condom because it clearly reflects the government's political stance. A condom stands up to inflation, halts production, destroys the next generation, protects a bunch of pricks and gives you a sense of security while you're being fucked!

I liked it.

Drop The Baby 05-22-2006 09:13 AM

Yeah i heard that one the other day, it's pretty good. I heard a John Prescot one too but can't remember it. There's so many Prescot jokes around i don't think it's possible for them all to fit into one person's head.

POINTLESS5448 05-22-2006 09:44 AM

i have finals tomorow. i have to get an a on my anatomy test and my history test and my math test or im ****ed. =\

That man is just funny. I have a strange feeling that Western politicians aren't selected for their qualities, but for their satire-potential. I can just imagine a little room with Simon Cowell sitting there, watching hopefuls make political speeches and then saying something like:

"That was utter tripe. You actually think people want someone as charismatic as you? You think people will laugh when they hear your NHS-saving policies? Go back home before I write an arse-kicking manifesto on your face!"

I would like to see a show like that actually.

guns_of_brixton 05-22-2006 11:13 AM

Did somebody post on this page that they had a friend named "Cbass"? If so, that is cool as fux.

And I didn't go to school today .

Jessizzle 05-22-2006 11:18 AM

There is no school today, its the queens birthday!

guns_of_brixton 05-22-2006 11:21 AM

Since when does Canada have a Queen...?
Since when does Canada have a Queen...?
um.

Queen Victoria!

i dunno. May 2-4 weekend is the best.

coheneran 05-22-2006 11:43 AM
There is no school today, its the queens birthday!
WHAT!? That's so unfair, we don't get a day off on the Queen's birthday, and she's OUR Queen!

guns_of_brixton 05-22-2006 11:47 AM

Haha. The only day we have off for the rest of the school year is Memorial Day I think.

coheneran 05-22-2006 11:51 AM

Barre chords are hard, and WholeNote is not making it any easier to learn. I need a teacher badly.

Joel_DK_Clash 05-22-2006 12:06 PM

Their hard, but once you get them down, the guitar is your bitch.

Teeb 05-22-2006 12:13 PM

I just read through the Wholenote tutorial, and it doesn't seem too good. Try this http://www.cyberfret.com/chords/barre/index.php . That's how I learned barre chords.

Brain Toad 05-22-2006 12:19 PM
Since when does Canada have a Queen...?
Well, Canada does reconize the Queen of England as their queen. It's funny when I see Queen Elizabeth of Canada.
WHAT!? That's so unfair, we don't get a day off on the Queen's birthday, and she's OUR Queen!
Well maybe you should petition for one.
Barre chords are hard, and WholeNote is not making it any easier to learn. I need a teacher badly.
Barre chords are a bitch to memorize and the actually barreing annoys me, but they are really essential to know, especially for fingerpicking.

And today I only have to go to school for 5 minutes, to turn in my paper, sell back some books, then buy a Blue Book exam book for my test on Thursday.

coheneran 05-22-2006 01:21 PM

OH NO! I have a test tommorow! What am I gonna do? Shit shit shit!

Lucky for me, I didn't procrastinate! Hah! I had my notes in order three days ago and spent all day reading them and writing important points of Pride and Prejudice on the inside of my thigh. I am going to wear a kilt.

Flagjacket 05-22-2006 02:06 PM

That's nice.

Brain Toad 05-22-2006 02:14 PM

Well, that was fun.

Got $11 for two books that I spent probably $30-40 on.
Turned in my paper.
Bought my test booklet thing.
