Are the races split like horde/alliance? IE a guild is either one race or another, can't mix.

sort of. the flight is a huge aspect of it and makes it feel totally different. there's also tiered combos sort of like LotRO had, but much better implemented. it's still standard MMO combat, but there's a lot of strategy and thought needed.

I've been looking up videos of stuff, probably from the foreign version. Looks pretty fresh, better looking than WoW combat at any rate.

Do you know if the animations are any better in the us version? Cause they're kind of bad in these vids.

yeah they cleaned up a lot of the animation and put in more frames for all of them. it's still not perfect but it's nothing bad. the flying in particular looks really great (and i only flew in closed beta, so i'm sure that's improved too)

all of them are balanced for the most part. gladiators are kind of useless in groups but they're a decent off-tank/dps. clerics vs chanter is a big topic of discussion since people say clerics are useless at endgame when there are chanters are around, but a lot of others say that's false.

chanters are awesome. they do well at buffs/melee/heals, and they wear really good armor (in that order)
