The bass I'm still seriously considering, although I've yet to play one, is an F Bass BN6, as well as a matching fretless. That would be my sexy bass setup.

BenJammin 11-02-2006 09:22 PM

Damn, some guy from Japan wants to buy my CD and it would cost $7.20 to ship it. The CD only costs $5. :p
triple pop using one finger, a dread lock and your teeth
Ok, gotta go grow some dreads now. How long will that take.

Side note I have been thinking of growing my hair out and getting dreads, how do you think I would look.
I need to figure it out, too.

It all depends on how much money I end up with. :p
Omg, he's still going to buy one. :amaze:

I don't have a car... or a license.

User Name 11-02-2006 09:29 PM

I have a car and a permit. The car needs a lot of work (at least $1000) and it isn't even registered yet.

Get someone to drive you, you have a friend that goes to mac. Go spend sometime with him. Public transit from there.

IwaV is so boring compared to a lot of her other books.

Unless you like your stories to consist totally of flashbacks.

Yeah. A slim case.

Jody LeCompte 11-02-2006 09:31 PM

I just glanced over at the stack of books on my desk.

I actually haven't gotten a chance to touch my Anne Rice books because I can't figure out which comes first.

the dreads might put you in better focus, and then get you out of sepia colors

Interview, then Vampire Lestat, Queen of the Damned, Tale of the Body Thief, Memnoch the Devil, and then I dunno how it goes after that.

Holy sh!t i'm watching phil ivey and david benyamine play poker on the online program poker program i use.

Spaceman Spiff 11-02-2006 09:33 PM

Just dented my bass.

It slipped from my hand and hit a metal corner on my computer desk. This has happened once before on the same corner. This one is bigger and deeper than the other.

Whoops!

It's confusing because she wrote one set of books, and then kind of started writing "fill-ins" if you will and sticking those left and right.

Yeah, I didn't read anything but the 'core' books because everything else she does sucks.

My favorite damage is all the paint chips below the C string from my double thumbing and popping and stuff. At least those are there because of my playing, and not my clumsiness.

I don't understand how people get those.

I slap and pop the hell out of my bass and have no such marks.

I realized the other day how beat up my musician (the bass in the video) really is. Has a lot more paint chips in it than I noticed when I bought it, but I don't think that any of them are from me, as I am really careful with it. The clear coat on the neck is almost all warn off as well. It must have been a heavy player before I got it.

Do you slap through the string? Or do you bounce? I find that I hit the body more when I slap through the string (which is all that I do now).
