The registration thing was broken for a while, and I always forget.
I will try harder to actually remember this week.

My journalism class at school is so much fun.
We have to do 4 articles a semester each and then extra work for whatever our job is. I'm an illustrator so I get nearly no work and my friend is one of the two managing editors so I get easy jobs. And the teachers are super slack, so everyone pretty much plays internet games all class.

you can always buy thicker sticks. Though if you want to lessen ring, you could always put a towel over your drum.

Or if you dont want to go so extreme, get one of those little plastic rings that go around the edges of your drums to muffle.

Or, better yet....try putting a duna inside each drum. It works especially great on small toms (10", 8", 6"), because it muffles them more.

But get a DW and do it, cause looks matter heaps.

Or put a plastic bag over the drum for that classic death metal thud. Or put it over your head, that's rock n roll dude.

what does it sound like?

washy, i would guess.
but i could be wrong.

Its got a hell of a ping with very little wash. Its heavy ride with a glassier tone than the standard Avedis rock ride.
