New Behold the arctopus leaked, is actually great, much more musical than previous material.

And the vocals (on the new Benighted) are pretty much the same but used much less effectively and creatively, to whoever asked.

Nearly every time I've gone to the Jumping Turtle, they were playing. Yeah, I've noticed they have a pretty big local following. I can't stand them, though I'll be honest their covers or Black Metal, Ghost of War and Chemical Warfare are enjoyable.

Anyway... death metal.

Well, what bands did you already check out? You can't really force a genre on yourself.

no i'm not forcing anything. i just haven't really listened to any death metal at all for the last two weeks.

like, there's nothing new. here's what i listen to most of the time:
pestilence
dismember
entombed
disincarnate
demigod
morbid angel
etc.

i'm looking for newer stuff that i haven't heard basically.
