You have Dekapitator - WWD...YWO!!! right? If not, grab it. You'd probably like it. alot. The vocalist can hit some crazy high notes... like at the start of Thundering Legions.

One shot, one kill and the title track rule.
SODOM: DVD To Surface In March, Studio Album To Follow In August - Dec. 14, 2004
Veteran German thrashers SODOM are tentatively scheduled to release their first DVD in March 2005. According to SODOM frontman Thomas "Angelripper" Such, the DVD's concert footage will will contain 23 songs. An overview of the band's career thus far and additional bonus features will also appear on the disc. "Such a giant DVD we make only once in a lifetime, so I don't want to make compromises in quality and completeness," Angelripper had previously said. "But you'll not be disappointed, the DVD will be the absolute hammer, I promise!"

SODOM are expected to enter the studio in early 2005 to begin recording their new album, tentatively due in August 2005.
The hardest decision ever is Peace Sells vs. Rust in Peace.

Peace sells has pretty much every song is great.

But Rust has much better songs (holy wars), and also some ****ty songs (lucretia).

Overall I'd have to go with neither one.
You forgot Killing is my Business! That album has no filler tracks whatsoever. Titans of Thrash [KIMB]!!!

Roar, enjoy yourself.

SLATANIC-666 12-17-2004 02:32 PM

Whoever said that I hadn't made a bad purchase when I mentioned I'd ordered Live Kreation couldn't be more right. It owns for quantity alone but the fact that it's also high grade thrash metal makes it fucking superb. I just love it how it's taken from loads of different shows on the VR tour '02. There seems to be loads of appearances from other thrashers on it too, Gene Hoglan- Dark Angel, Eric Petersen- Testament, Sodom, Snake - Voivod and there were others, Angela Gossow :naughty:
On the special features there was a sort of video timeline of them, early clips of them around the Endless Pain, Pleasure to Kill era, I believe it contains most or all of their videos.
Anyway for those of you who don't have it, I advise you to get it, any means possible :thumb:

How orgasmic are the solos on Sepultura - Hungry. I command you all to listen to it now and headbang in unison, raising horns towards the sky in a blasphemous salute to the awesome devastation of THRASH METAL!

Which album is it on? I've never listened to much Sepultura.

And is that a Krisiun reference in your user title, Dargon? I can't believe I've finally found another Krisiun fan...

EDIT: oops, brain's scrambled.

They are very good as are a lot of solos on the BTR album, Andreas Kisser is/was a very underrated guitarist :thumb:

Yes, the mighty Krisiun, Leaders of the Black Hordes! the most hate-spewing, blaspheming, christraping death metal band around! \m/

I've only had it like that for a month and a half :p

I don't think that there is any difference regarding the playlist on what's called the 'Concertfilm', except that on the DVD Flag of Hate and Tormentor are Special Features.
But also on the special features there are a lot of their videos over the years, e.g. Toxic Trace, Betrayer, People of the Lie, Terrorzone and Violent Revolution. Plus a running timeline showing them from like 82-84 - Present, man they look so young(in '82-84).
Probably the only downside is, and it's quite a big deal really, is that on the little sticker they put on the front of the DVD case they spelt THRASH wrong  ,when will they learn? Probably when Dargon has finished beating them whilst shouting 'It's THRASH not TRASH!!!!! AAARRRGGHHH! GGGRRRR!!!' :naughty:
Anyways, I advise you to get it, you won't regret it :thumb:

Apocalyptic Raids 12-18-2004 05:47 AM

i must track that dvd down some time, ive been meaning to for ages.

metal-militia 12-18-2004 05:53 AM

Can't find it on the internet :upset: O well, looks like im going to search through the shops. I'd rather get the DVD becuase it has Tormentor as a special feature, and that song is one of the best Kreator have done :)

RavenousMetalist87 12-18-2004 10:35 AM

The Slayer show last night kicked major ***...I was just screaming out the lyrics the whole time and headbaning along XD

I really enjoyed them more last night rather than at Ozzfest. Must've been that I had better seats.

sensitiveorgan00 12-18-2004 11:50 AM

You had seats? Pussay. :p
Did play Necrophiliac and At Dawn They Sleep?
You had seats? Pussay. :p

They sure did. They even played Fight Till Death and Hell Awaits :thumb:

I was like "HOLY ****" when they started they went straight into the intro for Hell Awaits.

metal-militia 12-18-2004 12:03 PM

what was the setlist like?

RavenousMetalist87 12-18-2004 12:17 PM

Darkness of Christ
War Ensemble
At Dawn They Sleep
Mandatory Suicide
Bloodline
Fight Till Death
Hell Awaits
Chemical Warfare
South of Heaven
Seasons in The Abyss
Dead Skin Mask
Angel of Death
Necrophiliac
Postmortem
Raining Blood

Not in order but what I could recall from the top of my head.
