I actually agree with Jared on this one. I mean the Pit can be crappy to an extent, that's why it's there. But when every thread is a huge flame war or something then it sucks. It also sucks right now because all the threads suck. Goofy fun threads>serious threads. In the Pit anyways.

There used to be a "secret" forum, forum 85 or some crap that you could only find by typing the forum number into your browser. Someone spilled the beans on it though and it got locked down.

Look at the file name itself. Like when you go into Windows Explorer and look at the file name.

Yeah, I remember I used to post on bigsoccer.com, and the off-topic forums didn't count toward your postcount.


The problem was, there wasn't much interesting discussion to be had in the on-topic forums, apart from slagging off Newcastle fans, and the off-topic forums were where all the interesting talk took place. But were also very cliquey...


Which is why I stopped posting there.

I'd never heard of Forum 85 till now. MX seems to have had a bunch of stuff people didn't really know about like the long user title. That got closed down too...
