Win A Rabbit 11-15-2006 02:41 PM

I have to go shovel my driveway sometime today. It snowed Monday but I haven't got around to shoveling. It sucks shovelling for 15 minutes when it's -15 and windy outside.

And we're having a going-away party for a girl who's half-quitting at the youth centre. She's still going to work there every once in a while, and whenever we're shortstaffed and need help, so I guess she's not really leaving. It's odd.

She's vegan (though not as vegan as her boyfriend, she's somewhere between vegan and vegetarian ) so we had to make a vegan cake. I'm interested to taste it.

maniac0796 11-15-2006 02:42 PM

you need around 2740 euros mate. Thats if finland uses euros. Not quite sure...

sweden still uses the krone, and norway still has the kroner...

Win A Rabbit 11-15-2006 02:49 PM

Oh man. Me and a lady friend just came up with the best idea.

A driveway that flips over, like the walls in the batcave. That way the snow would go underground, eventually melt, and make it's way into the soil around your house, keeping your grass green (when it's not covered in snow). Plus you would never have to shovel your driveway again. It'd just flip over, and the other side would be dry and completely snowless.

Now to invent it...

Dave*Grohl 11-15-2006 02:57 PM

yeah euros in finland. And a shell pack is just under 2000 euros. 1800 something for a shell pack with snare 12 and 16 tom and 24 bass (virgin, ooh yeah) and just under or a bit over 2000 for a 5 piece setup

maniac0796 11-15-2006 03:08 PM

Yuh. I'm buying seperate shells instead of a pack because they don't do a pack in the sizes i want. therefore it'll cost more.

20x18 virgin bass drum (£679)
10x8 tom (£219)
12x10 tom (£249)
14x14 floor (£329)
16x16 floor (£349)

Gotta buy a premier artsist brass snare for £150. gotta buy additional hardware, ie stilt stands and tom holders. Should ring up to about £2500 without VAT....

Janeway 11-15-2006 03:31 PM

****ing A.

Every day has been ****ty this week. =/

And my mp3 player is ****ed up. It turns on, but the main interface won't load, even when I reset it.

_Wrathchild_ 11-15-2006 03:34 PM

I think I'm one of the most computer illiterate people ever.

I downloaded Soulseek today because I can't find most of the music I like on Limewire anymore, but I don't know how to work it :upset:.
I have to forward my ports and stuff first to make it work, but I have no idea how to do that because I'm an idiot.

Dave*Grohl 11-15-2006 03:51 PM

Pearl smx:
22"x18" Bass Drum
10"x08" Tom
12"x09" Tom
14"x11" Tom
16"x13" Tom

That would be soo nice.

maniac0796 11-15-2006 04:30 PM

Yay, i was bored to i made this. I've only been learning how to use PS for a week, so I'm proud!

I could help you out with that. I use Soulseek a lot. On another note. I was drinking until 5 in the morning last night ( no classes to day), and then I woke up after five hours of sleep and couldn't go back to sleep. Grrr.

Janeway 11-15-2006 04:42 PM

Aagh. Fucking pile of shit.

I'm trying to make a new Janeway avatar, so I'm blacking out the background. I click save as when I'm done, and it freezes up. Fine. It did it one time. I do it the second time, and it freezes again. So I've wasted 40 mother ****ing minutes doing it for absolutly nothing. This is shit.

Josiah 11-15-2006 05:01 PM

hahaha

Really? If you could do that, that would be great because my family are just as incompetent as I am and won't be able to help me.
And I'll give you thank you rep even though it probably isn't worth much at all :)

Edit: I think I may have it now, nevermind

20 minutes to black out a <70x70 avatar? That's a long time, wouldn't you say?

Janeway 11-15-2006 05:26 PM

It wasn't a 70x70 avatar.

It was a full picture, and it involved a lot of hair. Hair is the worst. =/

Win A Rabbit 11-15-2006 05:35 PM

 Why not reduce it to 70x70 then black it out? It'd take a minute to do it that way.

Cocaberry 11-15-2006 05:38 PM

40 minutes? You black it out one pixel at a time or what?

Janeway 11-15-2006 05:39 PM

Yes, I do. =/

I was watching Divorce Court while doing it, anyways.

Edit: Shpongle.

I liked Are You Shpongled? better than Tales of the Inexpressible.

Are you on MSN right now? If you have any more questions I could help.

_Wrathchild_ 11-15-2006 06:11 PM

I got it now, it's alright.

Actually I'm not even sure if I have you on msn anymore. I got a new email address awhile ago and I'm not sure if I ever added you again.

Snarz 11-15-2006 06:31 PM

Sweet.

Win A Rabbit 11-15-2006 06:59 PM

Hmm... Husker Du definately does not sound like I expected they would, judging by the name.

I was expecting some mellow, acoustic, art rock kind of thing.
