/Wants one :upset:
I can't watch the plug-in :(
Yeah, I missed it. Sorry to hear it sucked. :(
Nah man it's all good. I'm not even a permanent DJ there, I am only a sub for when other DJs can't make their shift.

I will get a fulltime gig next year though :)

EDIT:

I should post my conversation with Jelle about girls. It made me laugh.

Six Foot Revolver 04-09-2005 10:36 PM
Really? I'm nervous I'll get flamed, haha.

Hey AH - roflcopter @ my new user title.
Well, I'm not sure how successful the thread would be, this being R&M and not Alt/Indie, but I don't think you'd be flamed for it.

Jom 04-09-2005 10:42 PM

AntiHero3314 (7:46:23 PM): I am not an expert when it comes to this :-\
SuperPeer (7:46:34 PM): someday you will be, little Jom
AntiHero3314 (7:47:23 PM): haha, aww... someone called me by my given name
AntiHero3314 (7:47:32 PM): and I do not foresee such things on the horizon
SuperPeer (7:47:47 PM): why not?

AntiHero3314 (7:48:13 PM): well, I feel embarrassed about myself moreso than I have ever been
SuperPeer (7:48:19 PM): why?
AntiHero3314 (7:48:38 PM): senior year of high school, in the fall in (American) football, I got four herniated discs in my spine. That meant I couldn't lift, run, or do anything for months.
AntiHero3314 (7:48:41 PM): It kills everyday.
AntiHero3314 (7:48:50 PM): So now I'm starting to not feel athletic anymore.
AntiHero3314 (7:49:02 PM): And I never looked like a model to begin with
AntiHero3314 (7:49:43 PM): so any opportunity I had of looking presentable has basically disappeared because I haven't lifted in awhile and haven't run as often as I used to because my back kills so much
AntiHero3314 (7:49:52 PM): it's ****ty.

Superpeer (7:50:02 PM): Man, I look terrible, I have a girlfriend
Superpeer (7:50:04 PM): she's pretty hot too
Superpeer (7:50:09 PM): she just has no taste whatsoever
Superpeer(7:50:11 PM): find that girl !

AntiHero3314 (7:50:16 PM): I don't look.
SuperPeer (7:50:16 PM): /unorthodox advice
AntiHero3314 (7:50:24 PM): just because I'm that embarrassed about it.
SuperPeer (7:50:25 PM): I didn't look either, actually
SuperPeer (7:50:33 PM): she invited me for a drink, then I played her
AntiHero3314 (7:51:05 PM): I never talk in class or at uni. I am humorous on the uni's community thread thing, but then when people meet me in real life I'm not so funny.
SuperPeer (7:51:25 PM): I don't talk to anyone either, only to the people I already knew
SuperPeer (7:51:37 PM): What I did is, I stared at her a lot
SuperPeer (7:51:50 PM): then she started staring back all the time
AntiHero3314 (7:51:54 PM): people can judge me through the keyboard and I won't feel any effects of being judged, but in person I can see their facial expressions and how they're carrying themselves in the conversation
SuperPeer (7:51:56 PM): we did that for a month or so
AntiHero3314 (7:51:58 PM): and it is never pleasant

Superpeer (7:53:41 PM): meh, it's better to talk to a girl on msn first
Superpeer(7:54:05 PM): I don't know, then she was just like, let's go drink something, then I amazed myself
SuperPeer (7:54:18 PM): I had never even decently talked to a girl, I was 17
Superpeer (7:54:28 PM): and I was just smooth like hell

AntiHero3314 (7:54:32 PM): nice
AntiHero3314 (7:54:34 PM): I like stories
Superpeer (7:54:41 PM): in buildings?
AntiHero3314 (7:55:04 PM): heh, nice pun :p
AntiHero3314 (7:55:18 PM): I like listening to other peoples' stories.*
AntiHero3314 (7:55:21 PM): or reading them

Superpeer(7:55:30 PM): Therapy? says
Superpeer (7:55:34 PM): "happy people have no stories :)"
AntiHero3314 (7:55:43 PM): oh.
AntiHero3314 (7:55:50 PM): :-\, then.
AntiHero3314 (7:55:57 PM): I guess I only listen to sad people, then.

Superpeer(7:57:01 PM): maybe so
Superpeer(7:58:13 PM): but
Superpeer(7:58:15 PM): keep staring
AntiHero3314 (7:58:36 PM): heh
AntiHero3314 (7:58:43 PM): that's uncomfortable for me
AntiHero3314 (7:58:49 PM): I'd get weird looks.

Superpeer (7:59:47 PM): well, don't stare incessantly, Jom
AntiHero3314 (8:00:15 PM): hahahahaha

Superpeer (8:00:17 PM): just look at her, if she looks, look away, but so that she can tell you were looking
Superpeer (8:00:30 PM): well that's what happened with me, and she stared too
Superpeer (8:00:42 PM): it got really out of hand in the end
Superpeer (8:00:55 PM): she was looking up the stairs where I was and I was looking down
Superpeer(8:00:59 PM): not very subtle
Superpeer (8:01:14 PM): anyways, this is terrible love advice, staring probably won't work with everyone
AntiHero3314 (8:01:27 PM): heh, no, whatever you think is best
AntiHero3314 (8:01:33 PM): if it worked for you, you might as well share it

Superpeer(8:01:51 PM): yes, especially because we're losers
AntiHero3314 (8:02:14 PM): no, you are not. I am, though.

Superpeer (8:02:28 PM): trust me buddy, when it comes to girls ..
Superpeer (8:02:35 PM): I mean, when it comes to flirting
Superpeer (8:02:47 PM): it's a different story in the bed
AntiHero3314 (8:03:08 PM): /doesn't get it
AntiHero3314 (8:03:10 PM): hahahahaha

Superpeer (8:03:51 PM): I just get all nervous and shy when talking to girls
AntiHero3314 (8:04:30 PM): heh, but at least you fought through it
Superpeer (8:05:08 PM): yes, I've achieved life's purpose
Superpeer (8:05:30 PM): a year ago, I would have never ever have thought I wouldn't still be a virgin when I'm 80
AntiHero3314 (8:05:39 PM): haha
AntiHero3314 (8:05:40 PM): nice.

Superpeer (8:06:09 PM): Even our friend, hunchy got some
Superpeer(8:06:24 PM): He's not called hunchy for nothing you know

AntiHero3314 (8:06:48 PM): oh dear
Superpeer (8:07:21 PM): he grunts, looks like the hunchback of the notre dame, doesn't have anything particularly interesting to say, doesn't say much of that either
Superpeer(8:07:25 PM): but he got some !

Superpeer (8:07:31 PM): there's hope for you, Jom
AntiHero3314 (8:08:20 PM): heh, thanks
AntiHero3314 (8:08:28 PM): but I'm seriously not bothering with it
AntiHero3314 (8:08:34 PM): not until I can try to look presentable again

Superpeer(8:08:39 PM): ok
AntiHero3314 (8:09:04 PM): sorry :-\
Superpeer(8:09:16 PM): hah, no it's your choice
Superpeer (8:09:26 PM): Maybe you're better off
Superpeer (8:09:30 PM): girls are bitches
AntiHero3314 (8:09:58 PM): heh
Superpeer(8:10:05 PM): trust me
AntiHero3314 (8:10:51 PM): /trusts you

Superpeer(8:11:17 PM): hehe, I could take advantage of this
Superpeer(8:11:36 PM): I think I'm gonna smoke this thing right here
AntiHero3314 (8:11:38 PM): go for it
Superpeer(8:12:04 PM): hopefully I'll feel great when I get back
Superpeer (8:12:55 PM): :substances:

/end convo

True Story

ATM 04-09-2005 11:01 PM

Okay, my night went as follow:

I drove about an hour to pick up my girlfriend, then we picked up a friend of hers about 25 minutes down the road. We go to the DC United game, and sneak down into the good, expensive seats. The game was cool, but they ended up tying 1-1. So we are leaving and we decide to smoke a blunt on the way home. We are just driving and blazing, and we pull up next to a cop. I am blasting "Won't Get Fooled Again" and the cop looks over and starts laughing.

Phew.

So we keep driving, I drop them off and head on my way. About 2 minutes from my house, the car completely stops accelerating :-/

Oh shi.

So I manage to get off the main road, and sit there thinking "What the hell do I do now?" The car wouldn't even start back up. So I sit there and light up a smoke and just think what I should do next. I decide to give it another try, and the car started up. I get home, and tell my parents what happened. They were pretty pissed, that I wasn't paying attention to the amount of gas in the car.

/boring story

lunch998 04-09-2005 11:03 PM

Yea, but at least you were playing "Won't Get Fooled Again."

Jom 04-09-2005 11:04 PM

Nah, that was a great story. I like stories.
In buildings?
Aww, come on, now. :)

ATM 04-09-2005 11:04 PM

That's all that matters. I got my girlfriend to listen to "Shine On You Crazy Diamond", some Marshall Tucker Band, some Zappa, and some Allman Brothers, and she said that she liked them!

True Story
As I was reading the Antihero/Superpeer conversation, I was actually listening to a song called "L.O.L. !Loser On Line! (Hate the Player, Hate the Game)", coincidentally. Now that you mention it though, it was oddly fitting.

Anyway, I'm off to bed. See you all later.

I tried to ease some Dead and some Allmans on this girl who likes some country, but she wasn't going for it.

Then I punched her in the face.

 You did the right thing. I also played "Take A Load Off Annie", and she dug it.
 You did the right thing. I also played "Take A Load Off Annie", and she dug it.
Ok, I didn't actually punch her, but it would have been cooler if I did. If I had any balls I would've done it.

Does it bother anyone else how girls always say that they "listen to everything"? I hate that shit. I wish they would formulate their own opinion and stop liking whatever is popular at the moment. However, this give me an excuse to always play music I like, because they "like everything".

ATM 04-09-2005 11:11 PM

AH, did you want the Beck song that Ray was talking about?

NP: Alice Cooper - Welcome To My Nightmare (I love this song)

Bartender 04-09-2005 11:12 PM
Good night, Bartender.

Were you calling me a loser online? :mad:/:upset:
Well the song (after some scratching mimicking masturbation and a sound sample from a porn film) goes "Lo-ser on-line, and damn proud of it." :)

So..in a good way, I suppose.
