Thanks, bad news are that there was a band from sweden called that in the 90's :( What do you think, shall we keep it? For you who didn't know it was the place in the berlin wall where tourist could pass..

We play funky rock, the latest song is like a fusion betweek Primus, Nirvarna and Foo fighters!

its a cool name, not as good as the name of my band. the battory opperated fabulasly [url]http://cracklab.mine.nu/[/url] check them out. (non of the songs onthere are my bass playing)

But what do you think? shall we keep it or come up with something unique, Nirvana wasn't the first band called that for example.. And the other Checkpoint Charlie aren't playing anymore

it really all depends on legal issuse, i for one would keep the name, but if it runs you into legal troubles i would change it. although i doubt that that would happen.

Yes me too, the other band wasn't famous at all, i just searched a wikipedia-site and found out they were a band from Örebro (small town) during the 90's and they had played hardrock at a pub :evil: :p

By the way, you band sounds cool!

Put aucoustic guitarstrings on it! At least try :thumb: :cool:

well, as far as I know, a baritone ukulele is tuned EADG? But a soprano like mine is GCEA, but not in order of pitch, so the lowest note isn't the G :confused:

It looks like it just uses cut down acoustic nylon strings anyway to be honest.

Wierd, I have a old corny uke from the 60's that was my mothers, the tuners are wacko but i might try to put some old guitarstrings on just of fun..

Nobody hates me, for I have the bright yellow uke, with the bright yellow 'gig bag' for it. Bought it off eBay... Now my mum thinks I'll be off after.... (Heh, could we make it like the eBay adverts on TV? That would be cool. Post what you bought, and then the next person carries on the sentence! :D)

My friend has a wierd uke too (funky tuners that is)...tuned FCEA....I doubt it's tuned right...but that's all it'll stay tune in.

Well its supposed to be GCEA, so its not far out. At any rate, I'm off MX! Laters!
