Nick Cave is the greatest Australian musician ever, bar none. The only people who come anywhere near close are The Saints.

He recently refused to play a show in England because the lame venue wouldn't let him drink and smoke onstage. And seeing as he chainsmokes cigarettes as an alternative to heroin, it's not a very nice thing to do.

Has Nick Cave ever done anything with Tom Waits?

Kinda the Lawrence Arms meets 88 Fingers Louie, I guess. Also, kinda like None More Black. So, mid-tempo punk with hardcore influences, lots of melodies and shouted vocals.

not that I know of. There's some stuff that's been mislabelled that he has, but it's bollocks. He has done some awesome stuff with Shane McGowan from the Pouges.
