I'm listening to some old music i haven't listened to for ages, some of the first CDs i bought

The first CDs i buaght are the ones i still listen to, i have about 10, first ones i got were TOYPAJ and All Killer No Filler, i wasnt a big musice fan untill about year 2000ish

i got All Killer No Filler. I used to love the song Fat Lip, but now i don't like that at all. I'm listening to a bit of LTJ, some NOFX, Pennywise etc

Sweetm they be all cool :cool: < cool face, sum41 were my fave band for ages, and still are one of them, i cant wait for there new album

I was pissing about and i thuaght, i wonder if i can do taped harmonics, so i taped the fret, and hey presto, it made the harmonic niose, im figuring out so much stuff out recently, and have no theory behind it, so its kinda usless.

Yeah, I learned theory quite early so it all makes sense, go back to the basics.

i'm about to start my first grade on bass, which is grade five. though my bass teacher says it might be a little to easy for me.

What do you have to do for that?

well, it's rock school, but i've only seen the pieces book which, oddly enough, has pieces. don't know if it involves scales or whatever, or even if it's proper grades, only books which when you've come to the end of it you're at that grade

turns out you have proper exams. you have to do scales, arpeggios, pieces, aural tests and general musicianship. and a choice between sight reading, improv and others. :/
