I live in Puerto Rico. Van Halen did their first concert in here two weeks ago and that's because they aren't that cool anymore. It sucks, but then again, I like it.

Woodstock 09-25-2004 05:36 PM

Puerto Rico! wow.

slowhand 09-25-2004 05:37 PM

Why the "wow"?

AJtheguitarist 09-25-2004 05:37 PM

Anyone here heard of Hurricane Party? Check 'em out:

Don't hear that often.

slowhand 09-25-2004 05:40 PM

Ooh..

Is Hurrican Party a cover band or do they have originals?

I dont know. They kind of sound like a softer GnR mixed with pop-punk.

MalcolmYoungRock 09-25-2004 05:45 PM

I like your new 'tar Woodstock. I need a black and white avatar. Can anyone find me one of Harrison or Lennon or just any band that you feel I might like?

slowhand 09-25-2004 05:47 PM

Then that's kind of boring. Never liked GnR... But I'm checking their website to see what they are doing.

From what I've read they are making a great impact on Europe. Maybe they're good.

MalcolmYoungRock 09-25-2004 05:48 PM

Hey that looks kinda good actually...

What should i do with the top and bottom?

Woodstock 09-25-2004 05:50 PM

The same one with a top and bottom:

slowhand 09-25-2004 05:52 PM

I don't like that Harrison era. My favourite is 1968, like Clapton's...

There are better pics of Harrison out there (I should know, he's my 'idol') Just look in google.

MalcolmYoungRock 09-25-2004 05:54 PM

Slowhand do you have AIM?

MalcolmYoungRock 09-25-2004 05:58 PM
How about this?
I like.

slowhand 09-25-2004 06:00 PM

I love that one. My favourite Harrison period is that one.

MalcolmYoungRock 09-25-2004 06:03 PM
 I forgot how to change my user title. Heh.
Go to your control panel and click on edit profile. There you can change your title.

And now that we're talking about Harrison, is anyone here a fan of his solo career?

You got me before my edit :upset:

Woodstock 09-25-2004 06:06 PM

Harrison had a pretty good solo career. I like What is Life.

slowhand 09-25-2004 06:10 PM

For me Harrison had the best post-Beatle album: All Things Must Pass.

The only other post-Beatle album that comes close to this one is Lennon's Imagine.

Malcom, you sold out. Now it's just me rocking the colored avatar.

Anyways, What is your favorite Cream Album? Obviously there were only 3 studio albums but I think they are all great, so I'm interested in hearing what you think. Give a reason why its your favorite.

find a picture on google and we'll resize it for you :)

Woodstock 09-25-2004 06:19 PM

I didn't care if mine was black or white. I just like the picture.

slowhand 09-25-2004 06:23 PM

I have turned to the color side!!

Anyways, my favourite Cream album has to be, right now, Disraeli Gears.

But it might change, depending on the mood I am.

He looks like a ghost

MalcolmYoungRock 09-25-2004 06:26 PM

I think I should get the Malcolm avatar and divide it in half, one color and one black and white, although im not sure if that is even possible..

You either conform or leave and go to the punk forum

My favorite is Wheels of Fire. Just because it has better songs than the other albums.

slowhand 09-25-2004 06:31 PM

I turned back to my Clapton avatar. Sorry...

Anyways, I didn't even say why is Disraeli Gears my favourite right now.

Well, it's just that's the one in the middle, when they really got to know each other and were still getting along. And you can hear that on the album. Also, this album was made in a short period of time (the myths say only 3 days) and you can almost feel the tracks being live. I also find it funny the last number, 'Mother's Lament.' It also has "Sunshine of Your Love" there, Cream's signature song, and the first experimentation with the wah-wah pedal (Cream's album was delayed several months, and Hendrix released his first using the wah-wah in some songs after hearing "Tales of Brave Ulysses" by Cream in a demo, so everyone thought that the first artist to use the pedal was Hendrix).

Anyways, its a well rounded album, and that's why it's good.

slowhand 09-25-2004 06:46 PM

What's this? Everyone has a Beatles avatar? All you need is someone with a Ringo and and you're done.

MalcolmYoungRock 09-25-2004 06:46 PM

We need someone with a Ringo avatar. Lunch! Get yourself a Ringo Starr avatar. We can be the CRT Beatle Avatars.
