I don't think it sounds Orchid at all. but yeah that song has a sort of Orchid-y guitar tone, as well as a Orchid-y composition. that whole "album" is a little Orchid-y, I guess.

but I've known these guys for a long time, and their first "album" is really not like Orchid in any way, and I just viewed the "album" the song in the video is from as a continuation and expansion of their original sound, which is really like Jeromes Dream and Adoor.

I mean I get the Orchid comparisons now that you mention them. I just never even thought about it, because when I got into them they didn't really sound like that. they were far more short burst-like.

I use to use myspace all the time, still remember going to Hot Cross's myspace everyday to listen to their 2 demos (pre-risk revival).
