i went to prom last night. it sucked ***. lame as ****. then i was supposed to go to this chick katies hotel but her friend is a big dyke and said couldnt come. bitch. so i went to the beach with these kids that i didnt really want to hang out with but my friend nick who was dd was playing guitar and i was singing it was pretty sweet. then i went to my friend veronicas hotel and just got even more ****ed up and that was cool i guess and i got home at like 4 and i was trashed and i dont really remember what i did once i got home. now i feel like **** because i hadnt had anything to eat for a little over 24 hours and im hungover but its cool because im seeing against all authority tonight!

That's the purpose. They used to be banned, because they are a post count booster, but one always gets made anyway, and most of the forums have them (except the Pit), so we might as well have one, since people like using it.

I looked into the Indie genre since I started reading QC but 2 bands into it I stopped.

Then stay away from the dance-punk scene. It's not that great anyway. !!! is the only good one, Out Hud and the like aren't that good.

Stuff like !!!, dancey music. It's a subgenre of indie even though being called dance-punk.

It's not that I didn't like it.
I just didn't know where to go to look for other bands.
And the Alt/Indie forum looks pretty ruff.

Look at the RL page on QC, he offers a lot of different bands to check out. Read his descriptions and check out anything that sounds interesting.
