try dance of death by maiden - the bit at the end goes really irish
|
I think the Irish have a lot in common with pirates, both inside music and out, so either seems to work. In fact, it may well be a song about being a pirate, for all I know. All I know for sure is that it's an Irish folk song.
And as for getting excited..I suppose I just really like Irish music :)
Irish, Scottish, Celtic and all that good stuff is very cool music, so I agree with you on that one heh. And also wasn't Eric The Red a pirate? My friend said that he was, but I am not sure since that is the name of the Tyr album. |
Sounds more like a Viking to me. Tyr is a god of battle in Norse mythology, isn't he?
EDIT: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erik_the_red Lord Abortion - I already have Dance of Death. It's a good album. |

I thought he was a viking due to their lyrical content, but I wasn't exactly sure on it... |
Good morning.
mourning all wow.. kylie minogue may have breast cancer... shame anyhoo... going to see star wars on friday night!! and booked my rammstein tickets bum bada bada, bum bada bada...
That's what happens when you don't touch yourself. Shoot, did you get those Star Wars tickets in advance, dude? It's all sold out here. Fricken' nerds camping out took all the tickets (:shakes fist:) . NP: Iced Earth- Consequence |
pirates are an extention of the viking mentality I think
with all the raping and pillaging... ICB- well they are already booked but there wasn't a nerd problem here in newcastle anyway... |
Oh, man, you should see the setup these guys at these theatres have. Canopies with various laptop computers and star wars paraphanellia (spelling?) all over the place. It's like they brought their rooms with them.
Obviously George Lucas is the equivalent to Garth Brooks to Star Wars fans. |
taking their laptop computers= sign of nerdiness IMO
pardon my ignorance, but who is Garth Brooks? |
taking their laptop computers= sign of nerdiness IMO
pardon my ignorance, but who is Garth Brooks?
A country music superstar. Your ignorance is forgiven, bro. I don't expect there to be any sign of popular (or unpopular) country music out in Europe. |
I actually know who Garth Brooks is, though only through Rich Halls hatred of him.
Anyway, I'm back from my daily dose of Countdown. Hello, anyone who's still around. |
Hey everybody.... apparently I didn't get rid of that virus :-/
|
Hello Bart and Eleventeen
I don't have iTunes. My audioscrobbler says it's Boris - Feedbacker. But it LIES! Boris have five different tracks on my computer, all called Feedbacker, and the 'scrobbler can't tell the difference, so it doesn't count. So I guess my top track (as of the last update, May 8th, anyway) is Jeff Beck - Rollin' and Tumblin'.

By the way, I'm pretty certain Erik the Red was a Viking. Wasn't he the one who discovered America before Columbus did, but didn't notice?

Audioscrobbler is weird, i definately listened to more children of bodom than it says.

Yeah, that wikipedia link cleared that up. He founded the first colony on Greenland, I think.
Audioscrobbler is weird, i definately listened to more children of bodom than it says.
It's been working rather intermittently lately. |

Your momma? I'm sorry, I'm in a "your mom joke phase" right now. Is today ATM's birthday? We gott e-beat the crap out of him 18 times if so. NP: Gathered Here Today- Broken and Bruised |
So what does everyone think of my new avatar?
|
It's pretty gay.
Make it flash with a subliminal emoticon. |
I like it because it reminds me of my nickname. And I meant it's my birthday.
|
ATM is 19, according to his user profile.
EDIT: Happy Bday 'Bus :chug: |
I like it because it reminds me of my nickname. And I meant it's my birthday.
Oh, happy birthday, dude. |
Congrats. Now you can buy lotto, porn (legally, I mean), cigs, and are officially an "adult" now. You'll be under the microscope for the rest of your life :)
EDIT: PS: What did Tucci say? No worries if you forgot to say anything to her, since I'll be stopping in sometime before you guys get out. |
Thanks.
You guys like Bob Marley? |
So I took my changing my avatar back plan and merged it with ICB's add subliminal mesages.
|
Ah, I've got 5 more months until I can do all that fun crap.
|
So I took my changing my avatar back plan and merged it with ICB's add subliminal mesages.
YES! THAT IS THE SHIT! |
Thanks.
You guys like Bob Marley?
Yes I like Bob Marley |
Happy birthday, Bus.
I think I was the only one to watch your talent show videos :/ Any birthday plans? And yes, I dig Bob Marley. It's a requirement for all weed smokers. |
Who doesn't like Bob Marely? I think he's becoming a bit overrated in today's culture, but he's still good to listen to.
|
Congrats. Now you can buy lotto, porn (legally, I mean), cigs, and are officially an "adult" now. You'll be under the microscope for the rest of your life :)

So I forgot... And thanks Munky :thumb: And to ATM, hope you liked the videos, thanks about the birthday, and yea I love Marley too. The only thing is I'm done with weed. I think I'll just drink from now on. |
Birthdays suck after 18, I wold guess...
NP: Destroy Destroy Destroy- Hellfire This is a band my cousin introduced me to, they're from the town he goes to college to in Tennessee. Y'all want an mp3? |
Talent show videos?
(Happy Birthday :)) |
Talent show videos?
(Happy Birthday :))
Bus posted some vids of him playing Layla and Wish You Were Here. He was good, but I wasn't really digging the vocals. |
Alright I got the videos uploaded:
Wish You Were Here: http://s39.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2QKVBMEV0DNJG10XCGSN1YIDRB Layla: http://s39.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=038N9U98YFAU910SLLWERP05B8 Keep in mind 1) I'm more accustomed to electric guitar, 2) It isn't my acoustic, 3) We learned the songs the night before the show, and 4) I was a little nervous. Enjoy! EDIT: I'm on the left, in the gray shirt.
These talent show videos. And yea, the vocals were horrible, but I wanted my friend to join us on stage cause he loves these songs, even though he can't sing. |
Birthdays suck after 18, I wold guess...
Clearly you don't understand the concept of the "21st Birthday Party in Vegas". Only three more years (August 11, 2007 baby) I like Bob Marley. The only reggae artist you don't have to be high to tolerate. So one of my good friends from high school is out and back home, and I was going to hang out with him, only when I arrived at his house I walked in on him and some chick (his girlfriend from college, maybe? I dunno). So I went back home and here I am, for the time being. edit: happy birthday, magicbus. Now you can do rad things like vote and be tried as an adult :p |
