CYHSH are fucking cool.
I agree.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 03-13-2006 11:54 PM

I love Clap Your Hands Say Yeah!

whiteminority 03-14-2006 12:00 AM

I swear if I ever stop listening listening to hardcore, I want to spend the rest of my life listening to indie/garage rock.

pixiesfanyo 03-14-2006 05:41 AM
I swear if I ever stop listening listening to hardcore, I want to spend the rest of my life listening to indie/garage rock.
If I stopped listening to hardcore, I'd start listening to punk again, even though it sucks.

Matt? 03-14-2006 02:39 PM

no i listen to indie, but i don't really like the kind of bands they play

and yes i mean like clap your hands say yeah, and like sufjan stevens and that like indie pop kind of stuff i guess it's called

i don't really like indie pop i guess, some is enjoyable though

Jawaharal 03-14-2006 03:31 PM

Sufjan was amazingly mediocre and CYHSY! are decent at best.

The only thing good that pitchfork has hyped alot recently was Animal Collectives' Feels. That album is sex.

Matt? 03-14-2006 03:33 PM

the way i read pitchfork is that, if it gets lower than a nine, i'll have a chance at liking it

there are a few exceptions though

StandingStill 03-14-2006 05:30 PM

The standard of writing on pitchfork is absolutely shocking.

Luxor 03-14-2006 10:08 PM

Pitchfork's shitty

I just ordered a bunch of A Day In Black And White stuff, sick buzz.
News Flash: You Can Listen To Two Music Genres At the Same Time
News Flash: I listen to more than one genre of music.

I was saying if I did stop listening to hardcore that would be all I listened to, dumbshit.

Special Brew 03-15-2006 12:18 PM

I need to get back into emo. I got distracted by hardcore and j-rock.

Get me back in emo.

Special Brew 03-15-2006 01:44 PM

Well, I'm bobbing along to the Orchid discography right now. I forgot how much these guys own.

whiteminority 03-15-2006 01:46 PM

If you are talking about totality thats not a disco thats all their splits and 7"s on there. It doesn't have DTRT or the two full lengths.

Special Brew 03-15-2006 01:53 PM

Yeah, I know. I have all their stuff downloaded, I believe.

Totality
s/t
DTRT
Chaos is Me

Is there anything else? And know where I can get their lyrics?

whiteminority 03-15-2006 01:54 PM

They have other releases but if you have those you should be set because Totality has all the other stuff.

whiteminority 03-15-2006 02:03 PM

I dont know what to say about lyrics the only place I find them is the inserts with their records. :(

Special Brew 03-15-2006 02:07 PM

I guess I should buy their records sometime soon, before I start listening to something else again.

I think I'll retry some pageninetynine after this Orchid kick.

whiteminority 03-15-2006 02:09 PM

Check out Cease Upon the Capitol.

Special Brew 03-15-2006 02:21 PM

Aight

Special Brew 03-15-2006 02:46 PM

Does anyone know where I can find lists of all the releases by certain bands? If there isn't a site or something, you guys should tell me.

The Kodan Armada
Pg. 99 (pageninetynine)
Cease Upon the Capitol (I really like them now)
Funeral Diner
Belle Epoque

and any of the other heavier/grindish emo bands.

AIRIC 03-15-2006 02:57 PM

You can browse me on AIM.

Skrunnch

EDIT: Nevermind I misread that, but if you want any of their music or anything else you can browse me on AIM.
People need to post more. This forum is dying.
It needs to. It was more fun before this forum was made. It was awesome back when it was just one thread in Other Music and us schooling people in CD reviews/pop punk.

an0therface 03-16-2006 05:39 AM

Does anyone know what is up with soulseek, it doesn't want to work, or is it just mine. The site says some shit about paying monthly fees or something.

pixiesfanyo 03-16-2006 06:10 AM
