Cheers, already there!

Not to re-affirm any suspicions about me being odd or anything, but I made some human sized/shaped targets with that rasterbator thing.

Exams are no excuse for not sleeping properly

Honestly the best way to revise is well rested, eating properly etc.

Regular Marmite is so bad that its mere existence kills kittens, and the act of eating kills one baby for each second of enjoyment you derive from it, you heartless murderer.

Alternatively, "I'm not a fan of it myself" will suffice.

No, you're right. Unfortunately the lack of sleep thing comes mostly from the pains I get in my lower left back when I go to bed/wake up. I've got a prescription for it but it doesn't always work.

Squirrel 05-25-2010 09:41 AM

No need to go to a doctor for that kind of thing, the obvious diagnosis is that you're a pussy. Given that sleeping injures your back.

i always had time to sleep 8 hours and go to the gym during finals week, but then again i was a business major and didn't have as much classwork as alot of other majors. my engineering major friends would regularly have like 5 hours worth of homework to do plus tests and quizzes and stuff to do.

like 100 years ago

actually i dont think snapple comes in glass bottles either, last time i saw it, it was a plastic bottle that was shaped the same.

why the fuck have you gone and done that my friend?

Sad But True 05-25-2010 04:26 PM

I couldn't maintain it at the same time as running it. It needed more time and money than I could give.

Left Face Down 05-25-2010 05:22 PM

Last time I drank out of a glass Gatorade bottle I was very very young.

Being an engineering major wasn't fun. I got to do home work at least 3 out of 5 nights of the week while listening to my room-mate (a business major) play games through the wall of our apartment.

I hardly ever saw him do hw, just study for tests every other week or so.

JoshIsNumber3 05-25-2010 05:48 PM

yeah i hardly ever get homework too. only a handful of my business classes ever gave homework, and when they did, it was always that kind of homework that isn't counted for a grade, it was always the stuff we would do together in class and stuff.

Modern Iconoclast 05-26-2010 02:16 PM

I'm pretty sure 1349's Demonoir album has the most blast beats in a single album. It's almost non-stop throughout the entire thing.

Squirrel 05-26-2010 03:00 PM

Check out Hour of Penace on their latest release; I haven't heard the album you're talking about but i'm sure it rivals it.

Whoah, I haven't been here in a long time. I might have even recognized a few people in my recent browsing too!

AG 05-27-2010 02:42 PM

Well I just got me and my wife a new rental property!

1. Saw add
2. Rang Guy
3. Popped over
4. Profit.

Signing contract tomorrow. £500pcm 2 double bedroom with garden and gated driveway.

Bruce E Kinesis 05-27-2010 03:04 PM

Sounds awesome, the whole north vs south thing is a load of **** but you guys get a great deal on rent up there, it has to be said.

And renting privately is the way to go, agencies are SO full of ****; looking for a student place for my second year, we ended up paying about £800 in fees between us for them to do absolutely **** all, and then at the end of the year when we actually needed them for something (needed a copy of the inventory), they were total dicks about it, as if it was a bit unreasonable for us to expect 5 minutes effort and a stamp from them in return for nearly a grand.

The_Mop 05-27-2010 03:29 PM

Not used agencies so far for getting student places, they pretty much all seem out to screw you over..

We (me+current housemates) were very fortunate to find this landlord who turned out to be awesome and has sorted us out for next year as well. Mint!

Bruce E Kinesis 05-27-2010 03:33 PM

We got our landlord of this year to sort us out for next year. Between the ten of us, saved £1300 in agency fees, and it's easier for the landlord too and he knows we're not going to trash the place.

// Quick question

Any upsides or downsides to getting a rack mount amp head? I should have enough money for a Mesa/Boogie Express amp by the end of next month; latest end of July. Debating between the 5:25 Rackmount Amp head and the 5:50 Medium Amp head. I'm going to use my XXX speakers until I sell it. When I do I'll be picking up a 1x12 Avatar cab. So the Long head will be too wide.
