Yeah, this 'tar probably won't last past christmas. It's funny that he wrote the book for a court case, though.

IPolkaLikeThis! 10-13-2006 12:11 AM

so yeah, I set up my bass today.

I got it intonated, and the action is just right, and my pickup height is nice.

I also bought a Danelectro Fab Flanger today.

its an ok little pedal, and for only 16 bucks, it was a steal.

Aerodyne 10-13-2006 12:24 AM

I need to study for tests tomorrow. But I'm not. Alas, tis only a map quiz. And a math exam. *grumble

Polka: Actually my favorite part of FSM is the people who take it seriously. They are very funny people.

HELLonWHEELS 10-13-2006 12:45 AM

I just saw Lucky Number Slevin and i thought it was pretty darn good. I got to find out who directed it.

Aerodyne 10-13-2006 01:13 AM

Only 39 posts ahead of me. Eh, you'll probably make 1000 first, but it's definitely close. Slevin is a badass movie. I've got it on my comuter right now, actually. It's so awesome. I need to buy it, though. It's definitely a movie that deserves to be bought.

Aerodyne 10-13-2006 01:13 AM

Well, 38 now.

Damn. 37.

*pokes forehead while moshing*
*gets weird look from other moshers for walking delicately into pit and poking mosher*
*delicately walks away for fear of being crowd surfed at*

Aerodyne 10-13-2006 01:42 AM

33, I'm getting close.

Aerodyne 10-13-2006 01:43 AM

Oh well. Not tonight. I've got to take a shower, I'm stinky. :D

32

EDIT: Damn, 31.

funkyhoney 10-13-2006 01:57 AM

blizzard 10-13-2006 02:08 AM

Hey Funky... music extension concert tonight at my school. I have to go.

funkyhoney 10-13-2006 02:11 AM

oh fun, what are you playing?

blizzard 10-13-2006 02:13 AM

I'm playing in the school's symphonic band and Orchestra tonight.

funkyhoney 10-13-2006 02:22 AM

symphonic band? do tell.

i have to play in stage band next friday night, yay! :) i actually like the music which makes it good.

blizzard 10-13-2006 02:30 AM

Ummm its my school's name for a wind orchestra. We have a Jazz band to which I play in... really it should be renamed either stage band or big band its not really jazz.

funkyhoney 10-13-2006 02:35 AM

oh ok, so what do you play in the wind one?

yeah, stage bands and jazz bands are similarly set up, our two stage bands play jazz/funk/rock and sometimes pop stuff, we have singers because we're cool. last year they played 'let me entertain you' as a headlining act.
like, at Suncorp Stadium.. they were there this year to.. hopefully they'll realise how **** theri bassist is and let me go with them next year.

I play electric bass in the wind one.. because we have no lower brass section to speak of. Our "Jazz band" plays Motown rock, hard rock (Born to Be Wild, Still Rock and Roll to Me ), funk and not too much jazz lol.

blizzard 10-13-2006 02:51 AM

Anyway, I better leave now and get ready.
