Four people posted all in one minute. There is a forum on the main page that I can't access when I am logged on, but I can when I am signed off. When can I post in there?

SlincoJ 02-28-2007 08:35 PM

Yeah there are alot of people from alot of places here.

Damn people gotta start posting slower.

LoneStarDrummer 02-28-2007 08:36 PM

you have to realize that there are several thousand members on the sputnik forums from all over. the chances of someone being from ohio is actually lower than that. considerable lower actually.

technically the odds are less than picking someone in the english speaking part of the world at random, because not only are they just one person in the english speaking part of the world, but they must also be a member of the forums, a member in the D&P section, and a member currently posting in the stronghold.

the odds are less than one and several billion

Bonham#1! 02-28-2007 08:36 PM

And you and I are from the same place, not 5 minutes away from each other mr slinco.

SlincoJ 02-28-2007 08:39 PM
And you and I are from the same place, not 5 minutes away from each other mr slinco.
And we are not 20 minutes away from 2 other guys.

Sunshine 02-28-2007 08:39 PM

There is no way you can tell me there is only one drummer in all of Ohio with internet access and an MX/Sputnik membership.

You really, really can't.

There are lots of people 'round here from the same places =/

SlincoJ 02-28-2007 08:40 PM

Truf.

Houdini 02-28-2007 08:41 PM

You know, Mr. Slinco; it is sexual solicitation if Bonham#1 starts out an instant messanger comnversation with "(click click)What are you wearing right now?" and then says "Have you ever kissed an older person?" My Spanish teacher told us today that the teachers had a meeting about letting the students know we can tell them things.

fishbulb 02-28-2007 08:42 PM

Time to study for an AP US History test tomorrow.

LoneStarDrummer 02-28-2007 08:42 PM

read the part i added to that post. it explains it. i'm not saying there is only one. i'm saying the odds are. if you have a one in a million chance of picking a red piece of candy in a dish, doesn't mean you won't pick it first time around, nor does it mean you won't pick it 5 times in a row. those are just the odds

SlincoJ 02-28-2007 08:44 PM

I appreciate that fact man.Especially since alot of conversations of ours start similarly. That bastard, sexually soliciting me.

Sunshine 02-28-2007 08:47 PM

Yeah, but you're over-exaggerating, saying the chances are uber-tastically low, when really...

LoneStarDrummer 02-28-2007 08:50 PM

i don't think i am over exaggerating at all. do you realize how small of a percentage the D&P section makes up in comparison to the amount of english speaking people in the world.

very small. once again, these are just odds. odds can be deceiving.

Bonham#1! 02-28-2007 08:51 PM

Dylan you love it when I talk dirty!

SlincoJ 02-28-2007 08:52 PM

:naughty:

Panopticon 02-28-2007 08:53 PM

TV has reached an all time low.

My parents are watching a show called "Are you smarter than a 5th grader?"

The woman playing is so dumb...she has to be 20 or 30 something and she can't even answer the question "What is the closest star to the earth?" her answer was the big dipper:smash:

"Which country shares the longest border with the US?" "Well, i hear a lot on the news about the mexican border...so I'm gonna go with that"

ANYONE WHO'S EVER SEEN A MAP KNOWS ITS CANADA!

She could barely answer the question "What do you get when you mix red and yellow"

"How many sides does a trapezoid have?" "what the hell is a trapezoid?"

SHE'S SO DUMB!

LoneStarDrummer 02-28-2007 08:54 PM

i'm watching that while i post on here. that lady is an idiot

Bonham#1! 02-28-2007 08:56 PM

A trapazoid has 12 sides:)

LoneStarDrummer 02-28-2007 08:58 PM

your mom's got 12 sides

i don't even know what that means, but if you disagree, i'll kill you

Win A Rabbit 02-28-2007 08:58 PM

Is it just me, or is Houdini too smart for someone new to these forums.

People who have been here for over a year can't figure out the rep system.

I'm a private eye. ;-o

Panopticon 02-28-2007 08:58 PM
Any users to watch out for? Every forum has them. I would assume by "stupid question" you mean something that is clearly on the front page, or asking a personal opinion question like "I need some sticks, I won't tell you anything else, but I want to know exactly what to buy anyway" or "What is the best drumset?
When someone says "so and so kit sucks"...don't listen. try it out for yourself and form your own opinion.

If someone tells you exports suck, they don't, they were just brainwashed.

SlincoJ 02-28-2007 08:59 PM

Yeah I found that a little odd but he probably saw it when he went poking around setting his avatar up n shi.

Bonham#1! 02-28-2007 08:59 PM
;14293051']your mom's got 12 sides

Oh I wouldnt dream to disagree.
;14293014']i'm watching that while i post on here. that lady is an idiot
she didn't know how many decades are in a millenium so she took the money...
sup my band is video recording our next show and we are gonna play Opeths harlequinforest/reverie thingy

check out my guitar tone plz
http://media.putfile.com/Harlequforest-or-sumshi
I think I have it fairly close =/

the playing is sloppy but it was more of a tone check than "omg rate my playing"
thanks everyone for the multitude of responses. I hate you all :fukyu:

LoneStarDrummer 02-28-2007 09:00 PM

however, there are better sets out there than the exports for less money, e.g., yamaha sets

SlincoJ 02-28-2007 09:01 PM

Tone was great man,Opeth=win.

Panopticon 02-28-2007 09:02 PM

tone sounds spot on futuro.

My band is covering Opeth's Death Whispered a Lullaby for our next show.

LoneStarDrummer 02-28-2007 09:04 PM
Oh I wouldnt dream to disagree.
smart idea. remember kids, stay on my good side, i just might not stab you

SlincoJ 02-28-2007 09:04 PM

Opeth is pretty dope I'll agree with that much.

Panopticon 02-28-2007 09:05 PM
;14293074']however, there are better sets out there than the exports for less money, e.g., yamaha sets
For sure...but there are also worse kits that cost more. Ie. tama superstar.

The exports sound great tbh.

Bonham#1! 02-28-2007 09:05 PM

Something something fireflys circling.

LoneStarDrummer 02-28-2007 09:05 PM
she didn't know how many decades are in a millenium so she took the money...

that was ridiculous. i don't think she even knew how many years were in a millennium, much less be able to do simple multiplication or division

Futuro 02-28-2007 09:06 PM

LoneStarDrummer 02-28-2007 09:07 PM

yep. as a matter of fact, i'm still rockin' the exports. i do plan on upgrading to yamaha beech custom abs nouveau at the end of summer.

if they still make the beech. rumor has they may stop production the beech, which will suck

Sunshine 02-28-2007 09:07 PM
