In the end they were just confused.

I jammed with my new band today. It's not even funny how insane our guitarist is. We improved for about 7 minutes and he did 5 improv solos, all incredibly fast. He's insanely good. The best part is, he's not pompous at all. He asked us if we wanted him to solo and the drummer Neil and I were like, "Sure, man. Go for it." He did and trust me, he went for it. :p

He said I was a great bassist, too. We wrote two songs. We'll have a show next month.

By the way, we've been together for about 5 hours and 15 minutes now...:lol:.

Im also in teh same situation. My cousin just moved aroudn me and when i was helpign him unpack he pulles out his guitar and I ask him to play , he rips out a 4 min improv solo. It was incredible. So i ran home called my friend and asked if we could go over ( my friend is my drummer that I record with). The three of us recorded a song called " Running With Scissors". Im impressed.
