2muchket! 07-03-2007 09:09 AM
It's ok. It's fun working there, but that's because everyone that works there is a pisshead or a stoner. Money's good too, for what you're doing. Problem is, for part-time, all you do every shift is either stock out or tills, gets really boring, and it drags like hell after you hit the 4 hour mark

And you get soooooo much of that. There's been a couple of real imbeciles this week. One said:

"Excuse me, where do I find Snow Patrol?" then, to save face, they added "I know it's under S, but..." Well then why the fuck do you need me, I ask you?

Another customer approached me with two dvds and said "Excuse me, why is this different?" Nuff said really.

And btw, temps get recruited october time at the latest, later only if they're still short staffed or one of the temps gives up. They need a certain amount of experience before the christmas rush
Ah right, dosnt sound to bad. Ill look out for ads in oct time, i there seem's to be about 100000 HMVs in leeds anyway.

Cant be as bad as "why cant i get this trolley out, non of them work??" *i go over and push the coin into the slot, unlike them who just kinda balance it in* customer "ohh, you must have a knack for it" me - "yes..."

Or *customer puts trolley into ones that are sticking out into the road and approach us* "them trolleys are sticking out into the road, thats quite dangourus" us "  "

Or, when the managers come out, cna clearly see your busy and behind on stuff, on your own and they go "antony will give it a sweep around here?" me "yes w/e  "
bubble gum.
Yup, stuff like that Hubba Bubba stuff, i used to eat as a kid, pretty darn bad for suger them.

Jev 07-03-2007 10:23 AM

I find sugared gum everywhere.
I've never liked sugar-free stuff.

Mexican Bandito 07-03-2007 10:23 AM

Went into Glasgow today with my sister to look for something to wear to a wedding. I am never EVER going shopping with her again >=[ first off she wants to look for shorts so we go round looking for them. Then changes her mind and wants to look for something different so we go round the same shops again. Then ended up back in Stirling (20 minutes away) and she got what she wanted there. grrr

There were alot of cancelled trains going into Glasgow. The stations were heavily guarded by armed police.

Jev 07-03-2007 10:24 AM

They're all armed, the police don't hire amputees.

/bad joke

Your supposed to drink in threw your mouth, not up your nose, that's where your problem lies.

Jev 07-03-2007 11:19 AM

I don't get hangovers because i'm cool.

Summer ball on friday, I drank half a bottle of jager, 3 stellas, 3 glasses of wine and a carlsberg. Can't remember much of the night but I woke up feeling good.

Jev 07-03-2007 11:28 AM

Pastorius 07-03-2007 01:17 PM

Man, if only I was still in the days when I could drink as much as I wanted and my youthful body would deal with it happily.
