Best sandwhich ever is primanti brothers: cheesesteak with french fries, tomato, and coleslaw on mancini's bread
my friend amanda lives right around the corner from mancini's, i pretty much lived on their bread when i was in pitt this past summer so good |
i want to go to primanti bros so bad, looks mad good
|
one of my goals is to go to philly and eat a cheesesteak.
|
so fucking good
|
another is to eat pizza in brooklyn and get a hot dog off the street anywhere in new york.
|
the hot dogs and pizza aren't that much better there
|
primanti brothers is legit but fuck eating meat, ben if you go to philly hit up govinda's dank vegan cheesesteaks and shit
|
i will def hit that up, but i enjoy foods of the flesh too much to pass up the carnivorous version of the classic. i really want to go to Philly and NYC sometime, but until I have stable employment and a vehicle this is all just a pipe dream.

so good
yeah remember that time you said what part of pittsburgh you were in, and you said the street name and then described it as "really fucking ghetto" and around the corner from an Italian bakery and then I said I live within 10 minutes walking distance of there good times. |
i thought you did live in the ghetto Cob? school of hard knocks and shit
|
Was in Philly for four days over the summer. Did not eat a cheesesteak. Oh well.
Come to Buffalo and eat wings. None better. |
that would be so rad, but Buffalo is so far up north. it's already like a 14 hr drive to Philly.
|
im gonna be in nyc for new years, anyone else?
|
i wish, that seems like it would be a lot of fun.
|
my friend is going. definitely want to go to new years there at least once.
also, i love how this forum is like 95% ny and pa. we should all meet up and party. |
my band's opening for god forbid for new years
fucking gayyyyyyy |
fuck that dude, the Better Days EP is fucking rad.
however, they are boring as fuck live. |
not into the band but imo they put on a good show idk
|
hahaha our opinions are reversed of each other.
i saw them open for Hatebreed in high school, and they didn't play any songs I liked and the amount of douche bag neo-metal (aka ex-nu metal losers) people there was off-putting, that and they played close to an hour which cut into my Hatebreed time. hahahahahaha this meme: |
lol
yeah the crowd they draw sucks and i never listened to them on album but i thought they did a good show for what they are every time i saw them (which was a lot because they always hop on local shows) at least their fans will probably be into my band because like we have melodeath riffs and breakdowns lol |
one of the reasons i'm a fan of them is because they also are all-black which was a big deal down in this part of the country when they first got some recognition. smashing stereotypes and shit.
|
hahahaha
Macintosh and the Mac OS X is not the same thing. furthermore you can run Mac OS X on another kind of PC, as well as Windows on a Macintosh PC.
you'd have to be fairly... well... bad at using computers to get a virus or malware. no matter what operating system you are using. I'd argue that iTunes is not user friendly in any way. it's sluggish at best, with a really awkward Apple-y UI. it's frankly way too bloated and unresponsive for me to use it - even if it were free software. but it isn't even that. it's a proprietary user-hostile menace, that hates anything non-Apple. just like Mac OS X, the iPhone, and everything else that company has ever produced. they are making a concious effort to lock their users exclusively to their products. not unlike what Microsoft used to do with their abomination known as Internet Explorer. in Europe their means of forcing it upon the user was actually deemed illegal. I use Clementine. it has a wonderful library system, a nice responsiveness, intuitive and clean UI, built-in last.fm-scrobbling support, nice queuing system, nice playlist functions, great support for Internet radio, etc. it's quite perfect for my needs. here's a screenshot I took just now.
sweet im gonna get it i hope it supports FLAC |
as you can see from my screenshot, I have audio tracks with a significantly high bitrate. those are FLACs. I have *a lot* of FLAC records, and couldn't use any solution that did not support that format.
but FLAC has nothing to do with your player/frontend. it's the audio engine/backend that supports FLAC or not. in most operating systems you can simply (optionally compile and) install the FLAC package, which consists of various FLAC tools, such as encoders and decoders. most operating systems will then work out the rest for you, and you will "automagically" have FLAC support on your system. |
