Yes! Yes there has, and about 3 people died, because it spread so slowly, and that's what killed the plague. I think my history is correct, therefore awesome.
Maybe...hhmm, interesting. Was a grand building though, like a manour house. Sketchy. |
maybe some count belonging to a secret order of world enders is going to lock a bunch of people in his manor and set it ablaze in order to invoke the end times i would watch out
|
Oh god. That sounds terrifying. I must keep away from all people who have the slightest importance to any secret societies / governments.
Eek. My dreams are scary. I have started writing them down. So when I am old I will see a dream diary and have flashbacks and it will be cool. |
haha that would be awesome
|
I dont dream. Or I do, but never remember them. I wake up and its like blank. Oh well.
|
I rarely remember my dreams.
I've had massively fucked up ones though. Ones where I've had news reports saying about stuff, and I'll find out in a few days that it actually happened.. Most people'd say "Yeah fuckin' right, you're just making that up" or "Holy shit, that's weird". I think this..99.9% of what I dream never happens anywheres close to where I am, therefor I'd have no chance to stop it, and even if it was close, I'm not going to go around fucking with that shit. If it's going to happen, I'd rather not fuck with fire. |
I had a dream once where some scantily-clad hot chick was laying on a pyschiatrist couch thing in my living room with her feet raised up on some pillows, except her feet were two little green and yellow and red birds and they keept looking at me then turning back to each other and speaking in gibberish (its sounded like unintelligible spanish), and then it was like they were chuckling and making fun of me or something.
http://peekvid.com/feature/movies/1122/The-Departed.html Im watchin the departed online too. |
Holy shit.
Cob, that's fucked up :p |
That is an awesome dream.
Most of mine seem really abstract with a lot of disjointed images. One time I had a dream with Yuna from Final Fantasy X in it. Shapeshifting pythons that turned into Little Debbie pastries. Then there was one where I traveled back in time with Gary Coleman to rescue Crew Barrymore from a gang of Italian mobsters. |
Gnarly dreams in here so far. Also, elim has a nice avatar.
|
soo uuh sup kids?
|
chillin.
you |
I have a lot of recurring dreams too.
After playing one round of my axis and allies game, Ive decided 1) I need to position the boards better on the table to they fit nicer. Simple enough. 2) I should put all nations pieces in one bag instead of keeping them seperate from the differnt game they came with. 3) I should give the nation of china (who has a nifty custom setup idea) a TON of more infantry in the start of the game. I want Japan to struggle fighting china to the point where theyre almost forced to invade the east indies, bringing the western allies into the pacific. From there its a race to capture 2 capitals and hold the great empire together. 4) Start out with germany having a lot more units, but having eastern france very well defended. I want france to be a frail nation, but still survive until 1940, at the least (or most). I found frances production to be too close to germanys early on, and germany gets a lot of their money after the fall of france (when Hungary, Rumania, Bulgaria, and Finland become axis powers, along with the newly vichy french north africa and southern france). Also, after france falls apart, I need germany remaining with enough units to hold off any early UK invasions. So to solve the problem of britain loading up on transports early on, im going to limit them to a very small navy early on and... 5) ...give them a lot less money. I already have the UK not having one 3 IPC convoy activated until america enters, and having one 5 IPC convoy have the rule where if it is disrupted by the axis, america enters, guaranteeing those 5 IPC's to the british. Im thinking of disabling another convoy until america enters. I want Britain to have as little money as possible to help out France early on, but just enough where when Germany rises to power, they cant just run all over the UK. In the real war, the UK survived against all odds versus the German blitz. I need to give them the slight edge in this game. 6) Give Turkey more units. It could be the make or break neutral: If an axs power controls it, they can ship infantry directly to it from the sea ports in greece and north italy, or can open up those turkish straits into the Caucasus, Russias most valuable territory. If Russia controls it, germany has another whole front to take over. 7) Severely limit deactivated allies production. I already have the USA and India/Australia making 3 ipcs each turn (can buy one infantry), but im thinking about not allowing them to get money until the middle of 1940 sometime (saying that they are producing smaller units because of rising tensions). I dont want japan to hold of pearl harbor for 6 months later than it was historically and having the USA have a fully capable fleet waiting to counterattack from california. |

Oh man, I'm so starting a band with this name. |

Haha, I was thinking the same thing when I read that. Nikita kr00schev. Also, i dont really think I want to join the army. Id rather sit in my dining room with my friends playing elaborate simulations of events that happened 60 years ago by pushing plastic tanks around a cardboard map. Oh yeah, and I forgot about a rule I made where if any amphibious assaults happen in a german held territory with a AA gun, the AA gun gets one shot into the water per ship before the landings occur. Basically, Germany can set up the atlantic wall, and since frances 3 territories have 2 with AA guns at the start of the game, Germany is set up early on to have strong defense while they focus elsewhere (if they please, that is, since you dont actually HAVE to invade russia anytime.) |
You guys are so epic.
|
Epicness = ridiculousness, apparently, hahaa. Its crazy, theres a table covered in mapboards and the chairs have all kinds of boxes and rules on them sitting around me. This is why I said before im going to invite some friends over this week to play it with me since I cant do it by myself.
|
My mind is too insignificant to really handle a game like that.
|
Im gonna see if you can get this game in Australia, it sounds so awesome. Definatley up for playing it.

:p
Ha, it would be awesome. Kind of sucks I made all of these rules and only 2 other people here would play it, since this game probably works best with 5 or 6 people around the table. I so bad wish doing stuff like this was a viable way to get money instead of a mildly creepy hobby. |

I agree though, I have no desire to join the army, but I LOVE doing this kinda' stuff. Being a General kinda' guy and making decisions and all that. I love it sooo much, but I haven't the slightest care to join the army. |

you should be able to. Right now im using the maps for Europe and Pacific. Its not really an entirely new game (same combat very similar turn structure, same boards), but more of an extreme revision to the rules.
My mind is too insignificant to really handle a game like that.
Its not as hard as it sounds. It might be kind of hard making up all kinds of new rules, but my overall goal is to make it far more in-depth than the regular version while adding minimal difficulty to learn. If you understand how to play the regular game, youll understand this game. Im going to type the rules out someday so you have the really nitty gritty details that ive worked in, with all kinds of charts and stuff, but then having parts to the side to dumb it down. Like right near where i explain for 2 paragraphs the rules for how france surrenders and what to do, ill have a box to the side telling the french player that its a good idea to try and hold onto your mainland territories for as long as possible to stop surrender from happening too soon. Also, im going to write short strategy parts, since a new player to this game in particular may be lost as to what to do on germanys first turn, or wondering if its a smart idea to declare war with italy early on where ill show the pros and cons. |
Okay, and while you do that I'll flick the pieces at a cat.
"DON'T **** WITH MY ARMORED UNIT, FELINE" |
Hahaha nice Nick.
I'm making a Battle Of The Bulge video with a bunch of friends. It's a little reenactment we're doing, we've finished all the planning, we just need to start filming, then edit. It's looking like it'll be sooo cool. I can't wait, because if it goes good, we're going to do some more. |
Okay, and while you do that I'll flick the pieces at a cat.
"DON'T **** WITH MY ARMORED UNIT, FELINE"
Your cat defends at a 4, i dont like the odds of either of their survival d00d. I also play a game sometimes with my friends using risk pieces on axis and allies maps, where you can build forts (to build new units) and settlements(to increase the amount of infantry that can be raised there and raise the IPC value of the territory), and you have to expand your empire until only 2 remain, and youre left with a first and second place empire. Actually for as long as I remember ive been doing stuff like this. I remember way back as an art project in third grade making a complicated skateboarding game. of course it wasnt fun since its only fun to actually feel like youre in motion, but it was still more in depth than other peoples in the class. I kept making little things like that using a sheet of paper as a board and having rules in my head. Then as I went on, I got more into RPGs and made a system for character creation and simple fights when I was about 12 or 13. I was never good at making interactive stories though, so I didnt like making that aspect, just the rules and worlds they took place in. I completely lost sight of all of that until the end of last year in school where a few people played risk for the entire half day. This summer I played a ton of risk and got back into strategy gaming. As you see, its more like a sickening addiction now, hahaa. |
Man we got rolled this afternoon, playing cricket.
Made about 50 in our first innings, got forced to follow on did just as badly in the second and lost outright. That sucked. |
hay babi
