woohoo just upgraded my computer.

Bought another gig of Ram, now I have 1.5 gigs of PC3200 memory, plus I got a new processor, an Athlon 64 3800+ 939 pin, an upgrade from my 3000+ (though its only a 600 mhz upgrade, from 1.8 ghz to 2.4 ghz) but now my processor is maxed out to my motherboard.

not really. I built this computer in October 2005 (minus the upgrades I bought today) but it wasn't top of the line stuff, it was stuff that came out in 2004.

So my computer, even now, is only comparable to the top of the line rig of early 2005, almost two years old in of itself.

You probably got a crappy OEM computer or something.

today i bought myself another ideophone and about 50 backing tracks. i chose mainly trite love songs like "my heart will go on" and "you raise me up" but i also got some more up tempo stuff like the "happy days theme" and "hawaii five o" and "always look on the bright side of life" if you know what i mean.

i'm going to start working the tuesday and thursday lunch time crowds outside the cafes in the cbd.

^^ Sounds like a good idea, you're sure to earn some cash. I'm applying for a Sunday job entertaining people (on the piano) at this cafe that have this giant, red grand piano and a stage for like $20/hr. Just need to put a demo together. Whore some of my originals hopefully. No doubt all i'll be playing is jazz and fusiony-type stuff. But thats just fine with me.

ON a completely different note, it's my friend's birthday today, well, it's on the 29th of Feb, but yeah, she celebrates it every year on the 28th for obvious reasons. But yeah, she's technically only 3 years old :p
