I dunno, TigerTiger is a big chain of night clubs i guess.

2muchket! 06-30-2007 02:26 PM

Plus it was ladies night at the time.

Patrick O))) 06-30-2007 02:33 PM

Nope :p I can't afford any myself >=[

But really. Even if 1 night a week isn't much, the amount of money you can make from that shift wont make a dent, so there's no point

I don't like tigertiger, but simply because the only people I hear talking about going there look like people I won't get on with at all =/

Damn you! I want free CDs.

yeah, i really dont want a job while im there, not untill the 2nd year anyway, i think the first year is all about just having fun, getting drunk, getting laid (lol, yeh) playing cricket and arseing about. Maybe turning up to class lol, which tbh i will, if it is anything like foundation was, i will love it.

Leeds seems to be more expensive then leads tbh, i dunno. The sandwich i buy in Marks + Spencer, is £1.80 in Manc, £2 in leeds, so i come to that conclusion.

Yeah, the tiger tiger in manchester is in the printworks, where all the chavvy people hang out.

Even though on the night one of the XFM guys DJs, its supposed to have good music, but ive never been.

Dont want them blowing up though.

Saw that.

That one I doubt was even a "Terrorist Organization". That sounds like a few idiots ramming a goddamn Jeep into the airport.

And seriously, come on guys, let's try something other than stuffing petrol and nails inside vehicles. I think I could be a better Terrorist then half these assholes.

Dr Hooch 06-30-2007 04:13 PM

My dad used to work in explosives, before he became a cop.

I've got a book sitting here on the book shelf beside me, showing the exact formula for making a fertilizer "bomb".

...Beside it also resides about 20 some different Law Books stating various reasons I can't make said "bomb".

Not that I'd even try. Odds are I'd kill myself.

Untitled 06-30-2007 04:33 PM

Its canny the timing is the same week theres a new PM.

they said on the news that there's a possibility they where all duds and they are just testing out the government now or something.

Surtr 06-30-2007 04:37 PM

I doubt that.

And I also seem to doubt Jihad/Middle-East involvement on these. Though I can easily imagine the blame being given to and taken by a Terrorist Group from the Middle-East.

My throat is really beginning to hurt. I've been practicing quite vigorously screams and vocals generally for about 2 months. I've gotten really good at inhales but can't exhale. And now I can barely speak.

volviendo 06-30-2007 07:53 PM

You go to the mountains and see a village beyond it.

you won

Mexican Bandito 07-01-2007 02:45 AM

Then I'm pretty sure you're doing it wrong...

I'd probably stop 'cause you'll fuck up your voice for good if you continue doing it improper.

ChodaBoy 07-01-2007 08:48 AM

I dont get how you could be at uni and not have a part time job. Unless you have rich parents, you're screwed. Food isnt free, and then there is always going to be something you want to buy yourself

Yeah dude, seriously stop until you're voice recovers. Then look up proper techniques. When I do it, it never hurts afterwards.

Mexican Bandito 07-01-2007 09:11 AM

Home from work and i'm greeted by a 'family fun day' at the local bowling club >=[ would be so bad but they're playing raved up Beatles songs :(

2muchket! 07-01-2007 09:14 AM

I've researched techniques but it's just I think I'm forcing out more air when screaming than I should. Plus I haven't always warmed up my voice. But the main reason is that I've doing it every spare moment I have.

Squirrel 07-01-2007 09:14 AM

If your throat hurts then your technique is horribly wrong and you're permanently damaging yourself.

I dont have a job at Uni, ive got 2600 in my spending account and 2000 in an ISA. No money woes :)

AG 07-01-2007 09:24 AM

The distortion in your voice should come from completely relaxed vocal chords and alot of air. If anything should ache (and a good ache, not a painfull one) it should be your diaphram. The sort of ache after weightlifting.

Your throat shouldn't hurt at all. Go to the Jam Session and look at Merkaba's(sp) threads.

Squirrel 07-01-2007 09:26 AM

You shouldnt ache after lifting ;)

2muchket! 07-01-2007 09:30 AM

I do ache after lifting ;)

And cheers that thread looks like it will be a good guide.

Squirrel 07-01-2007 09:32 AM

Then youre doing it wrong.

You should feel depleted, then ache after you've slept.

Jev 07-01-2007 09:32 AM

same i'm obviously doing something wrong if i ache for 3 days afterwards lol

Untitled 07-01-2007 10:05 AM

LEARN TO SING!!!

Dont scream, it sounds gay.

Ergh, rain, love it when i'm indoor, shame i was in work which is 8 hours out doors.

AG 07-01-2007 10:09 AM

I find it funny when singer have a go at screamers.

You're using your voice as an instrument, why not learn to use it to its full capacity. It's like playing guitar and never adding a little overdrive for power, or not using harmonics or something.

Confuses me.

Untitled 07-01-2007 10:13 AM

Meh, i cant sing, or scream, or whatever.

I just havnt found any music so far with screaming in that i like, shouting yeah i can stand, but that screaming stuff goes threw me!!

Anyway i was joking bout telling him to sing.

2muchket! 07-01-2007 10:15 AM

I can sing tho'. Averagely yes but in the past 18 months I've become quite a big fan of death metal, black metal and metalcore so I want to broaden my horizons and be able to scream.

ChodaBoy 07-01-2007 10:30 AM

I try to death grunt, but it comes out too vibraty. I can change the pitch and it sounds like Predator :thumb:
