It will be almost all mine but my parents will buy it and it will be in their name, so it won't necessarily be a family vehicle. We were kind of thinking of a car or a small SUV, but we already have a jeep grand cherokee, so we don't NEED another small SUV. Also gas mileage (as usual) is a definite consideration and tauruses probably get great mileage.

But i/we don't exactly know what it is going to be used for i.e. just to go to school and back or to transport drums/music gear etc.

I think a Ford Taurus would work fine... it's very safe (repeat this many times), gets decent mileage, and actually is pretty fun to drive for a beginner.

ringworm 02-27-2007 08:13 AM

Little Android Man 02-27-2007 09:25 AM

Sunshine 02-27-2007 09:35 AM

You know, now that you've said that, it'll be blocked.

Good ol useless-ass waste-of-time high school.

I don't have to be in 'til 9:55 today, and I'm still out by like. 12. Same with tomorrow.

the_pure_drummer 02-27-2007 09:35 AM

Hey guys.

How y'all doin?

Sunshine 02-27-2007 09:39 AM

I can't wait to go to college.
I want to almost never see my parents ever.
And I certainly don't want to live with them.

SlincoJ 02-27-2007 10:11 AM

Time teaches us lots of things.

SlincoJ 02-27-2007 10:11 AM

Lots of things.

stevensonmat2 02-27-2007 10:19 AM

can we get an estimate on how many things time teaches us?

SlincoJ 02-27-2007 10:21 AM

We could,but we won't.

Sunshine 02-27-2007 10:23 AM

Yeah, everybody says "Oh, just wait, once you're in college you'll miss living with your parents, you'll see, you'll miss your parents."

With the number of times they've been to war [Saudi Arabia, Bosnia, Kuwaitt, Afghanistan/Iraq]...I doubt it. Havn't missed 'em once.

Oh, and I don't know how much I'll miss being told I don't deserve to sleep because I'm "not the breadwinner," and that it's a privalage to live in this house, and basically that the world revolves around my dad so we should all just kiss his feet and give him whatever he desires. I really, really can't imagine I'll miss that much.

stevensonmat2 02-27-2007 10:31 AM

My 12" VFX sig Mini Hats came today! They're so...purple. Haven't got a hihat stand to try them properly on but using sticks and stuff, I've given them a little go. Very 'electronic', I like em.

The Chemist 02-27-2007 11:58 AM

look at what those morons did to my CP page.
they made it a mile wide

Stickman Sam 02-27-2007 11:59 AM

+rep for those suckas, how much did they cost? I'm sure you said a couple of days ago, but finding it would require... *gasp*... effort.

I so wanted the VFX hats, crash + ride box ages ago.

Nah effort is gay, i'll let you off. £120 including postage off ebay, bit of a bargain really so I had to go for it! They really are unique, I can't wait to use them with my 10" Black Panther snare. *drool*

I'll post some pics in a bit.

the more green squares there are, the more rep you have.
