So for a gay school rock band project, were finally trying to play some songs that are awesome (Dumpweed, Set Phasers To Stun), but the kid supposed to be singing is seriously a diva bitch. Every time he gets a note wrong hes like 'we need to start over, my voice is kind of rough today', and apparently its rough (sucks) every day, and then he wants everyone to look at him when we play so he knows hes not messing up. hes like fu[size=2]c[/size]king Mariah Carey. Not necessarily a big ego, just way too prissy. I hear he dislkes me because he thinks his girlfriend is trying to get with me, so because hes a dick to me and is all suspicious of his girlfriend, everyone like 'd00d st3al h3r fr0m h1m!', but Id rather not stoop to his level of dickness and do something like that. Hey, shes hot and were friends right now, but if she still goes to this school next year (maybe switching schools), im getting on that.

Then the chemistry teacher keeps telling me top 'get over my teenage bitchy whiny problems' because i dont want to start a seroius band with a dickhead thats playing guitar with us right now because I hate him and he makes sh[size=2]i[/size]tty music. I just wish that this teacher would understand that I need to play music with a pulse, not some fu[size=2]c[/size]king lame bad pop-rock band. This dude rights the most generic pop bullsh[size=2]i[/size]t and tries telling everyone 'ya im prtty artsy lolol'. hes such a faux-intellectual, its retarded, and hes telling chicks from all over the place that hes in a band (even though they ahvent practiced in 4 months and need a bass player which I assure everyone that its NOT going to be me). Such a fag, like he slips in it by asking them over myspace 'hey wats up?', and then gets the usual 'nothing, you?', and then he says 'just working on a new song for my band, its pretty cool' and i think EWW YOU DISGUSTING FU[size=2]C[/size]KING BACKSCRATCHING BAG OF FILTH STOP LYING. He keeps saying to the teacher 'i want to play with him but he hates me'. Boo fu[size=]c[/size]king hoo, you werent saying this a year ago when you didnt realize the band I was in with you sucked because your head was too far up you a[size=2]s[/size]ss reading 'philosophy for dummies', douchebag.

In other news, im sloooowly downloading Yank Crime from Drive Like Jehu. Also, a friend of mine gave me an old Axis and Allies: Pacific map, so I can provide myself some therapy from all of this bull[size=2]s[/size]hit by creating the second half to my massive set of 1939 Axis and Allies rules, which some of my gaming buddies are very excited to play.

Hahahha, the one math teacher at my school is like 53, buts hes all bulky and in shape cause hes a health freak. hes very boisterous, and he always says really funny stories, and I just thought of him because once a simple extra credit assignment ha gave was to draw a picture that he assigned from the book, and he gave one kid a chart and said 'but change the colrs away from that faggy pink and purple mix'. In any other school around here he would probably et fired, but so much stuff gets let go in this shool, its ridiculous, but I like it that way.

the only people that think there's anything wrong with the pit are the people who don't know how to handle themselves in there

general discussion = anything that someone wants to discuss

it could be a thread about shoe insoles or it could be a thread about nuclear fusion

the discussion and the responses it gets are completely inline with the purpose of the forum itself

the only general discussions that need to be eliminated are the ones in the individual music forums

those forums are there for the discussion of music and/or individual instruments not to house miniature pit discussion threads

the only reason this one is still here is because without it this forum would die

the l&r thread in the drum forum is another good example of something that doesn't need to exist since a site-wide l&r thread exists in gd but some people just suck at the internet and are afraid of the pit as a result

there's a few decent bands but even the decent bands sound the same as the rest of the bands, they just have some extra oomph or something to become decent.

musical taste aside i think the main reason people don't like indie is because it isn't studio refined it's meant to have an unproduced/unaltered sound and people like clean processed tunes

i admit to being very particular about production in music.

but i don't like indie because i think it's a very boring genre of music that brings nothing new to the music scene, and is inexplicably very popular.

that said, i was supposed to be asleep hours ago, night jared and mitch

vince indie is just like any other genre of music there is a scene attached to it and that scene is going to be full of kids playing the idol worship game because that's what scenes are for but being able to separate the scene from the style and enjoy the music for what it is as all music should be enjoyed is the key to happiness

but then some people just have different tastes so idk
