all this apocalypic talk about shutting the userbase down. dont know or care if its true, its just beyond annoying.
|
oh thank god the userbase on that site is terrible sometimes i see things and think pitchfork could write better reviews
edit: what happened to backstabbers inc why is there like, nothing going on with them |
aren't a few of them in trap them now?
|
aren't a few of them in trap them now?
that and the fact that they're spread out throughout the country or something. |
the singer is in trap them. and the guitarist matt serven was last i heard playing with a close friend of mine in a band called black swan (funny right cause that movie just came out...) but i think that fizzled out.
|
fuck trap them
|
trap them is fucking awesome fuck you!
|
fuck trap them
fuck you. |
i already addressed that ben don't worry
|
trap them rule
when i saw them they were kinda dicks on stage though, kept making fun of people in the audience/people going outside to smoke |
i would make fun of people for going outside during my set too.
|
only listened to them once. maybe i should give them another try...but when i heard them....didnt care for them. i looked them up when they came here with ETID and howl....maybe im getting them confused with howl....either way...trap them or howl...suck
|

I go outside to smoke during bands I don't like, I mean fuck, if someone doesn't like my shit, that's fine by me. |
i don't know, i usually give a band enough respect to get through their set or to go outside before they play.
though this one time i walked out on Mother of Mercy, as did like 10-15 other people, and the singer got pissed and called Johnson City a bunch of posers, which elicited someone from here threatening to beat his faux rockstar ass. |
IDK man, if I don't like what I'm hearing I don't want to hear it haha.

both are good man idk and i've heard the singer of trap them gets like major panic attacks if the crowd isn't digging them that much and basically goes crazy on stage. like he bashed his face in with the mic when they came here with skeletonwitch and tbdm because there weren't that many people at the show. |
wouldn't call that a panic attack, more like a temper tantrum
|
u dont know him
|
No, but I know what a panic attack is.
|
about to have a panic attack
|
i know hitting yourself in the face with things isn't necessarily a common symptom of panic attacks, but i've heard from people that have been on tour with him that he definitely just freaks out for 15-25 minutes, usually before or during a set and after that he's fine.
i know when i have them, especially in a class setting, i do a lot of things i wouldn't do because i'm trying to keep calm or hide the fact that i'm freaking out, but in reality i know it probably makes me look more like i'm freaking out than if i don't do anything. if i was on stage while having one i don't know what the fuck i'd do |
ive never had a panic attack in a public setting, thank god
|
thats really the only place i have them. it's fucking awful.
|
generally when i have panic attacks its like im having a seizure kind of but im super anxious and cant breathe and it blows
|
when i have them my vision starts to get all crazy and i start sweating a bunch and i forget to breath and pretty much have no choice but to just put my head down and wait it out
those are the really bad ones though, i've only had them once or twice. i've been able to control them better recently, but sometimes they're just unavoidable. |
shit's the worst :/

wut? you crazy dude. Actually I am a annoyed at Trap Them for pulling the pin on the ETID & 50 Lions gig early this year, but still, they rule |
whos that chick in your avatar^^
i used to date this girl that would get panic attacks. she'd been on medication for them since she was 12 (we were 16 at the time) and she said that they had gotten worse since she had been taking the meds. i don't really know what its like to have a panic attack the only thing close to it that i've experience was more a long the lines of a nervous break down. i had been up for about 5 days at that point, gotten into a big fight with my dad, been thrown out of the house in february and spent the next two days staying at friends houses but still not sleeping. i finally came home and no one said anything to me or even looked at me and i think that was worse than the fight so i just stayed in my room and listened to really sad music and just started shaking all over and was too exhausted to go to sleep. plus i was in some kind of existential crisis where i hated every aspect of myself and i just kept cycling through all of those things over and over again adding details that probably weren't too each time, just digging myself deeper and deeper until i cried myself to sleep. this is also when i was 16 much less melodramatic now |
that definitely doesn't sound like a panic attack. if he like went and sat behind an amp for the rest of the set i'd believe you but it sounds like stage antics
