Hey, Joe, check this band out, they're a friend's band, you might like them (no, it's not Sentenced to Burn again).

/Checking out.

They sound like some Hardcore band so far!

Shred Danson 04-08-2005 10:32 AM

They're singer sounds like Hatebreed, but most of their stuff is In Flames-influenced. Trust me, none of the guys, except for Steve even slighty digs hardcore. Check out "Deathblow", man, good heavy song.

Arucard 04-08-2005 10:35 AM
Joe, do you think you can record a little "marching" riff on snare for an intro or something? Kind of like a somber army/funeral type riff.
/Recording one now.

Shred Danson 04-08-2005 10:36 AM

Bitchin'. I love you. In a non-gay way.

Seacrest Out!

ATM 04-08-2005 10:37 AM

Arucard 04-08-2005 10:49 AM

The quality and snare sound is so bad its unreal, but it will be alot better on the good recording.

Is that the kind of thing you wanted?

Bartender 04-08-2005 11:52 AM

Get Relentless or Rant in E-Minor. Or Arizone Bay. Or alternatively, anything you can get your hands on.
It definatly is. And Arsis are the best Melod-Death band ever.

I WIN!
What I've heard by them is pretty good, but I still prefer Arghoslent by quite a way.

ATM 04-08-2005 11:55 AM

It's quiet around here today.

He was a (read: the best) stand-up comedian.

Hmm, thanks.
I was about to put "I got results for a standup" but I was gonna say...does he have albums?

clearvision 04-08-2005 12:05 PM

Thanks 'Tender :)

Yeah. He managed to release a few before he died, and then Kevin Booth (his friend and the guy who helped him make the albums) has been releasing other records in his name since his death in 1994, since before he died, he'd recorded enough live material for several albums worth of releases.

You know, then the Gulf War II started up, stickers were put on many of his releases, saying "Coalition Warning: Contains anti-war sentiments". Never mind that it's totally fucking pointless, and he's talking about the other Gulf War..

Bartender 04-08-2005 12:14 PM

If I was at Uni, I'd upload some stuff for you. Remind me around the 18th, if you remember, and I will.

IAJP 04-08-2005 12:16 PM

Alright, thanks a lot. :thumb:

It's always a surprise when you swear :)

IAJP 04-08-2005 12:41 PM

I'm embarrased to admit it, but I didn't notice he swore in that post, because I swear too much :(

Yeah, that's killer, dude. Thanks.

Arucard 04-08-2005 01:06 PM

Sorry about the shoddy quality, my good snare is at the recording place...

NEW AVATAR! I FINALLY BEAT THE SYSTEM!

Shred Danson 04-08-2005 01:10 PM

Well, it's OK, the equipment I'm recording with is pretty second-rate as well, so it's all good.

Arucard 04-08-2005 01:13 PM

What song was that for?

Shred Danson 04-08-2005 01:14 PM

Just for a song that I wrote, it's quite All That Remains-ish.

Arucard 04-08-2005 01:17 PM

Ahh.

This Darkened Heart = Best Metalcore album ever i should think. Considering it wakes me up every morning.

Shred Danson 04-08-2005 01:18 PM

Yeah. Did you listen to that song, "Deathblow"?

Arucard 04-08-2005 01:20 PM

By the band i thought sounded like Hardcore? And yes i did, i like the vocals. And fook, that guys solos!

Shred Danson 04-08-2005 01:25 PM

Yeah, JD's a pretty crazy guitar player, he introduced me to lead guitar a few years ago. At first I wanted to just play rythym, but he taught me a couple scales, and I took off from there. I could send you their demo if you want it, man, there are a lot of killer songs by them.
