Cathederal City Cheddar!

JoshTheSequel....3 07-01-2006 06:06 PM

Gah, cheddar is great, I just wish its melting consistancy was a little better.

Country Doctor 07-01-2006 06:07 PM

Cheddar and Branston pickle sandwiches are amazing. Now I think of it, I really want one now.

Ezekiel 07-01-2006 06:08 PM

Hehehe, it's practically the only cheese I eat. Red Leicster (or however the fuck) you spell it jsut tastes of nothing, and It's orange. Cheese SHOULDN'T be orange, I'm sure.

Edam tastes a bit weird, and anything past that, strength wise is just way too nasty.

Oh how I love the community thread - topics include;

Guitar Gear
Computers
Games Consoles
CHEESE!

JoshTheSequel....3 07-01-2006 06:08 PM

Oh man, http://www.half.com is the best place to buy games ftw

Koss 07-01-2006 06:09 PM

Just had a double glousceter (sp?) sandwich. Fit as.

Also, can't beat a nice bit of brie.

Terrible stuff.

I've really been into these or a LTD Viper 7, but this'd cost £75 to have sent to England. :upset:

Right, I'm off to go play Eternal Darkness.

Back later, possibly.

JoshTheSequel....3 07-01-2006 06:20 PM

I'm off to play Oblivion

Abu-Abu 07-01-2006 06:38 PM

I need input quick...I;m planning on making a project guitar, my friend is painting it, but I'm really stuck, I was just looking at bodies, and project guitars that are CHEAP on eBay, and I'm stuck.

Guitar #1 - Jackson Soloist
Pros: Comes with neck and body cheap, missing tons of stuff but that is sorta the point of a project guitar
Cons: No bridge, No pickups (I have some right next to me I'd put in though), no wiring at all, basically completely stripped down

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=005&item=150001662104&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

Guitar #2 - Ibanez RG470 Body

Pros - cheap body, full wiring, pickups
Cons - no neck, no bridge, will be more expensive

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=004&item=140002159877&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

OR keep looking for a while...

doublepost0rz 07-01-2006 06:44 PM

****ing soloist man.

Abu-Abu 07-01-2006 06:47 PM
****ing soloist man.
Yeah that's what I was thinking, hopefully I will win and no one from here bids (bastards).

I'll have to find a bridge though, fully wire it, all hardware, tuners, and more probably that I just can't think of. But isn't that what a project guitar is all about?

I wish he didn't carve those horns though, makes it a lot more ugly, hah.

Miek 07-01-2006 06:53 PM

I'm making something along the lines of a ESP KH1
Gibson style V
Floyd
ebony fretboard
cross inlays, the whole deal, you know

Me! 07-01-2006 06:53 PM

That's no soloist.

Soloists are neckthru only I'm pretty sure.

Daniel K 07-01-2006 06:55 PM

Yeah, soloist's are neckthru

Me! 07-01-2006 06:58 PM

Yay I'm right for once.

People try to pass those fancy-painted dinkys for soloists a lot.

Abu-Abu 07-01-2006 07:01 PM

Well, should I still go for it? I'm just making it a project guitar...and it's cheap

I'm going to, **** it

7 skrang 07-01-2006 07:02 PM

that body shape isn't even a jackson...

Abu-Abu 07-01-2006 07:03 PM

you guys make me nervous...1 minute left...

I just let it pass when I bid at $35 and it kept going up from maximum bid ****, to $52, and the time was about to be over I said **** it.

Whether or not it's a Soloist it was cheap though,

Me! 07-01-2006 07:04 PM

I wouldn't. It's sketchy as to what guitar it was actually from. And I wouldn't go for the Ibanez either. I'd at least try to get a Japanese body with an Edge already in it. You can stick an OFR in a 470 though.

Abu-Abu 07-01-2006 07:07 PM

The only REAL reason I'm making a 6 string project guitar, is I need a cheap 6 I can have a friend paint, and my parents won't let me paint my old Ibanez because they bought it and don't want it "ruined".

If you can help me find a better guitar, or guitar body, that isn't complete **** so I could also use it,, post a link, otherwise I think I'll go with that Ibanez...

Miek 07-01-2006 07:32 PM

so, whens I go about my warmoth, should i go for an ebony fretboard, or rosewood?

JoshTheSequel....3 07-01-2006 07:38 PM

That's not even a question worth asking

sometimes, rosewood is pretty awesome though

Captain Kirk 07-01-2006 07:40 PM

Ebony

If the funds work out I might have a custom neck made for my project 7

Maple with ebony fretboard, Wizard 7 style, possibly mother of pearl pentacle inlays

Plus a purple/green color changing body

pwn

Miek 07-01-2006 07:42 PM

okay
so anyway, now I can't decide on inlays,

JoshTheSequel....3 07-01-2006 07:42 PM

Sounds pwn tbh
