Hey Mattay.

So I need to whore some music to you.

I went to my local coffee shop today to meet up with 6 other friends. While there, there was a guy performing. He was pretty cool and I got to chat with him. He complimented on my Boys Night Out t-shirt I was wearing and he told me how he knew the band. He then went and played his acoustic set which included a cover of Saosin - Seven Years. He was pretty good and I have his purevolume to whore to you.

He also let us name one of his songs.:)
Emery was awesome. I'm not sure if they were as good as the last time I saw them, but it was definitely a lot of fun.
The lead guy screams awefully live.

Good singer, crappy screamer.
Through the Eyes of the Dead is awesome. I just saw them a couple weeks ago.
Their EP is great. Bloodlust tends to get boring and monotonous, though. It all sounds the same.

form 04-13-2006 10:27 PM

Yeah I was listening to them, I just thought that when you wrote "for fans of" I thought it was like another song from them.

I listened to the tracks on PV, not the song in the link.

/long enough explanation

Mute Print 04-13-2006 10:27 PM

I actually had only heard a couple songs by Through the Eyes of the Dead before I saw them. I think I've downloaded some of their stuff since.

If you can pull off Seven Years acoustic, you are seriously cool. If you like Boys Night Out, you're really lame.

I am thus conflicted on what to think of the guy.

The Sound Of... is a pretty good song, although when his voice gets off key (read: when he tries to sustain notes) it sounds kinda lame. The open throat-clearing was kinda cool.

I like my acoustic a bit more technical but he ain't bad at what he does.

form 04-13-2006 10:31 PM

I plan on getting an album soon, I like what I here.

Matt: I'm listening to The Sound of Falling Tears, its a good song, I like it.

Saosin=Best band ever. Almost. Not sure.

I liked him. When I first got there, he scared me because he was singing in french. And I was with 5 girls, 4 of which are french emersion and my bestfriend who is french emersion. So they knew what he was saying and me and the other girl were clueless. After that he went and played and let us name a song, than played a couple of songs and then the Saosin song. I then had to leave.

The above is all true. Boys Night Out is mediocre at best. "Seven Years", however, is awesome.

I didn't read the thread. **** off.

I've been queued for a download for over an hour now. It's starting ti brighten up over here. I want to go to sleep. ****ing irc.

Good news is that E4 played The Rainy Day Women episode of The O.C. at about 4:30 in the morning. Which was the best episode fo season 2 by far.

I'm tired

BridgeToSolace 04-13-2006 10:34 PM

I need to record one of my acoustic songs and show you what the **** a good acoustic is. Good acoustics have groove and talent and all that. A dude just strumming and singing isn't very good usually (unless it's Ash).

CommieCanada 04-13-2006 10:35 PM

Ok so i really like the new Taking Back Sunday song.

am i alone in this thought?

I don't think he said how he got mono.

But if you aren't kissing chicks/dudes, that's the most probable way someone would get it.

Or sharing gum, maybe.

Sup ANdy.

Westbound's older stuff was good. I remember when they had this singer named Andrew or something.

He was a beast. That band died a little without him.

I've also been listening to the leaked TBS song, where someone upped it here, and named it New Album Song...

Its good, I dunno if anyone else still has it , though.

I took a minute to catch on to that. I'm not used to Andy being called Andrew.:p

Kif 04-13-2006 10:39 PM

Spill Canvas' last CD sucked. Hard.

Jon: When you talk about having barely any standards when it comes to women, and having mono in the same sentence, how would you assume one gets it?

BridgeToSolace 04-13-2006 10:40 PM
ilu2 baby
P.S. Tabit is the best thing ever.

I think by that he means that a woman doesn't necessarily have to have 36DDs or a fat *** for him to like her.

Not that a girl can be a complete and utter slob with no hygene and Joel will still like her.

And yeah, electricity raped The Spill Canvas.

form 04-13-2006 10:47 PM

Alright, Imma go watch National Security.

G'Night MXPP

Pazz 04-13-2006 10:47 PM

Good night Mattay.

Kif 04-13-2006 10:47 PM

I suppose, but he worded it to make him sound like a mawhore. Oh well, I won't even remember when I wake up.

I want Forgive Durden. Now.

Oh, does anyone have Anathello's CD? I used to have it on my old computer, but I lost it, and I remember it being awesome and one of my favourite albums of this year, so I'd like it back.

Hahaha, true.

I saw them live in like September, and they weren't as good as I had hoped they would be. Their fans were annoying as hell too.

Congrats man, that's exciting.

See ya.
