I had almost 900. And at the rate people were repping me, I would've had it well over a month ago. :(

It happens I guess.

MBS 12-27-2005 09:35 PM

I don't really care if I get stars or not. I want people to read my posts for content and because they've found out by reading more of my posts that I'm a good poster (or bad :-X), not because I have stars under my name.

TheDMV 12-27-2005 09:39 PM
Ohh, I wish this was the case.
You're name looks good in italics; When did this happen?

King_Of_Terrors 12-27-2005 09:40 PM

You could probably use paint and edit in four stars at the very top of your avatar.

That's true. I think there are some bad posters that have stars as well.

But anyway to join in on the posting your rep. I only have 302 points. So the rep being disabled doesn't bothered me. I had quite a bit more points till I got stars.

MBS 12-27-2005 09:41 PM
You could probably use paint and edit in four stars at the very top of your avatar.
It looks really shoddy and cheap if someone is using a different skin than you and you do it wrong.

King_Of_Terrors 12-27-2005 09:44 PM

Damn, I only have 303 rep. But I got a bunch of "Your definately getting repped by me when it comes back" from a bunch of people.

But I don't really care. It doesn't bother me. I used to be all excited about it, but now...

Two days ago, for Sputnikmusic. I can't do anything on MX, however, which is absolutely fine with me since it has a full team to begin with.

Thanks, though.

Well it seems that Sputnik is going to be playing a bigger part now with the new changes so that should be great. Where did your stars go though?

MBS is playing poke-a-jom (Gotta catch 'em all)

*rimshot*

I actually laughed. That was quite clever.

Man, I played Xbox360 today in Target (Call of Duty 2). Man, it's so fluid and realistic. It's scary.

OMG 5,555!
is that what DMV really stands for?
I don't know what HIS name stands for, but the DMV is the Department of Motor Vehicles. It's where you get your drivers license.

 is that what DMV really stands for?

Bazarov 12-27-2005 09:53 PM

Quick question for guitar players that have submitted a lesson/article. Is there like a waiting period before it is put onto MX, because I wrote one yesterday, and it hasn't been up yet. A message popped up, but I didn't read it fast enough.

Stormrider 12-27-2005 10:15 PM

It's okay, if no one answers my question, or it's not up by tomorrow, I'll ask in the guitar forum.

I wish there was a place to play hockey in SD, there probably is, but I just don't know about it. What time it in Montreal?

My new iPod is the definition of awesome.

I was just watching this made-for-TV movie called "The Windsor Protocol." I would've thought that it would be difficult to make a movie, which is all about neo-Nazis capturing Hitler's secret instructions for ressurecting the Reich as the American and British intelligence agencies rush to stop them, a bad, boring, shoddily-put-together and confusing affair, but this one somehow succeeded. I had to stop watching it. It's really ridiculous.

Unless the movie you're watching is "Gettysburg," made-for-TV movies tend to be stinkers.
Am I the only one who really thinks that Cook is kind of mediocore?
I think Dane Cook is funny in the same way I think retarded people look funny, in that the humor one derives from his routines is based on blatant and blunt factors and then wears off once you realize the substance of what you're laughing at. That, and he overdoes his "hyperactive manic aggressive" schtick to make up for material that's largely ripped off from various pieces of the bodies of Bill Cosby's and Steven Wright's routines, just with lots of curse words thrown in.

In short, I think he's amusing, but to call him original, innovative, or hilarious is kind of unjustified. I will certainly never choose to turn him into some sort of modern comedy god the way some people seem to be doing right about now.

Although his Comedy Central DVD is pretty funny.
Am I the only one who really thinks that Cook is kind of mediocore?
 I would imagine. Have you ever watched him do his routine? The physical humor plays a major role.

Ive only been a hockey fan for the past 3 and half years maybe. Got my first pair of skates last year. Do you watch it ?

Yeah. I've seen his stand up, as well as his stand up on Dave Attel's Insomniac Tour. I don't think he's horrible, I don't know he just doesn't appeal to me. He does make me laugh though, just I think he's a tad bit overrated.

Because San Diego doesn't have a real hockey team, it hockey isn't really showed on sports channels, sometimes it is though, and when I do notice the Kings playing I'll watch.

I think Dane Cook is funny, but in the end he seems to rely on vulgarity and swearing as the bulk of his comedy. It wears off pretty quickly and the novelty dies as soon as you realize what you're laughing at.
