Just the good ol' JB. And a quick stop at Rockinghorse too.
I still can't find Deltron 3030 anywhere though... |
Yeah I can't find that anywhere either.
|
Just got Washing Machine by Sonic youth, love it.
|
Stevie Wonder.
Just put Songs in the Key of Life on for the first time in a while. |
Also dug the new Bruce Springsteen album and the second disc of Sketches for My Sweetheart the Drunk on Saturday night while drinking at my bro's house.
|
I am currently (finally) listening to Richard Hell and the Voidoids' Blank Generation. It rules incredibly very much.

I'd rather just keep looking for it until I find it. I prefer buying albums.
|
I found it in a small record shop in Sweden
|
Trans Am
Brainiac cLOUDDEAD Archers of Loaf The Stooges Geggy Tah That sums up my weekend. |
I've been digging The Shaming of the True by Kevin Gilbert. It's a concept album/rock opera type thing, about the music industry and how fucked it is. It's pretty cool.
|
Derek wins this page... fuck it, he wins the thread.
|
Really digging Emperor and Stars today.
|
Oh yeah, um.
Modern Lovers (this dude is overrated, but the debut is still ****) The Hold Steady (Seperatation Sunday is getting better with each listen. It's like modern Springsteen... almost) Om - Variations on a theme (it's good, but not Oneida good) And, Black Flag. Try and find me a better punk band. |

Yeah, nah.
|
Are you off uni at the moment Matty?
|
Indeed.
Working with the old man. Back up there in 3 weeks or so. |
Nice. Good to see you around more. How're the folks?
|
They're fine 'n dandy. They purchased matching lazy-boy's, so they're pretty happy at the moment.
|
haha. Those things rule, you can sleep on them! Well, I'ma go now, I'll no doubt see you around.
|
Yeah, nah.
That was the name of the band. The Binary System is currently in the ol' CD player, good times. |
Yes I know.
They're not better. Hence my statement of "Yeah, nah". |
Yes I know.
They're not better. Hence my statement of "Yeah, nah".
Hah, good. But in no way are they better. NA was under rated, Black Flag is over rated. Ginn himself never liked Rollins. Besides Rollins taunted and was an asshole to Calvin Johnson of Beat Happening, possibly the coolest guy ever because he wasn't macho enough. Ginn is cool, but as a whole, Black Flag's music I don't think was ever that great. |
Rollins is a a big fat steroid, but Black Flag were still orsum.
Hehe, Calvin Johnson was a weenie, but he made bitchin' tunes. |
