or are they harnessing Bonos ego and turning that into fuel?
That amount would blow up all of the speaker systems and just melt the screens.

If they want lower emissions they need to reduce prices on stuff like solar panels. How many shops do you know that sell them? or anything similar

And talking about more buses on routes is annoying, its nothing to do with the amount of buses - its because they are horrible to be on

Well all the first buses around here are now run on Bio-fuel which is better, except all the fields which the crop for that is grown on are starting to take over food producing fields or something i heard.

And B+Q in bury have them, but they are pricey. Theres not enough being done to sort it though.

I'll be honest I don't give a flying **** about climate change and all the neo-hippy hug a tree bullshit that goes with it.

ChodaBoy 06-25-2007 11:32 AM

Same really, its just annoying that its rammed down our throats every day of the week, but no real solutions are given to us other than "put plastic into your recycle bin..."

2muchket! 06-25-2007 12:17 PM

Or that by me not turning off unnecessary appliances that I don't care and am single handedly killing the earth. The fact that industry pumps out more pollution in an hour than I am likely to in 10 years has **** all to do with.

But the most thing I hate is that ordinary people are made to feel bad and consequently suffer while the rich and famous galavant around the globe. If ever met bono I smack the him for being such a self righteous hypocritical cunt.

Squirrel 06-25-2007 12:18 PM

Or use public transport.

Or turn TVs off standby.

Or use a colder washing setting.

Or turn taps off when youre not using them

And lights when you leave a room.

Or switching to cleaner fuel sources.

Other than that no they give you no solutions not even any that require next to no effort no not at all.

I failed my first driving test literally 15 seconds from the end :( man i was gutted, mainly at the cost of taking it again.

Surf 06-25-2007 12:50 PM

I only passed my driving test because the examiner liked my led zeppelin t shirt. He ignored the two majors I happened to rack up.
Failed my first one though and it sucks.

I'd love a bit of global warming; hasn't stopped raining in exeter for about a fortnight now.

Jev 06-25-2007 01:04 PM

Uhh you could say all the rain is caused by it.

Squirrel 06-25-2007 01:06 PM

Ive currently watched Maximo Park, Gogol Bordello and now im watch Editors, great little thing this.

Surf 06-25-2007 03:01 PM

meh I've got no idea about global warming tbh

only thing I know is from geography students saying that it doesn't exist.

ChodaBoy 06-25-2007 03:10 PM

Can we not just produce 0₃?

Patrick O))) 06-25-2007 06:06 PM

Global warming's going to make the UK colder, because all the ice in the arctic melts, stuff happens, and the Gulf stream current from central america which brings us our heat is going to move south/dissipate altogether

We're on the same latitude as moscow

Jev 06-25-2007 06:23 PM
Can we not just produce 0₃?
Nope.

ChodaBoy 06-25-2007 06:46 PM

Shame, we could have opened a door on the ozone, let the heat out, then installed a wall of 03.

:thumb: A guy can dream cant he?

Surtr 06-25-2007 08:14 PM

Week old Cesar Salad surely can't be good for a lad can it?

I'm checking the price of caskets as we speak..Here's to life, death, and the best week old Cesar Salad these lips have ever touched.

:chug:
Can we not just produce 0₃?
You could teeeechnically but it would be prohibitively expensive BEFORE you even had to take it up to the height of the ozone layer on a rocket ship

You realise that pollution creates these magical holes youre talking about.

2muchket! 06-26-2007 09:09 AM

Its the government I tell ya. They do it so they can control us through the medium of forced recycling.

Squirrel 06-26-2007 09:15 AM

Hah.

2muchket! 06-26-2007 09:20 AM

ffs they want to now how much rubbish I throw away now. It won't be long before every single liberty I have is taken.

Jev 06-26-2007 09:22 AM

Don't they want chips installed in wheelie bins to see how much there is in them?

Squirrel 06-26-2007 09:23 AM

Yeah fight the system.

Jev 06-26-2007 09:25 AM

Recycling really doesn't bother me, its not hard to do at all.
Doesn't most of Europe have a much better recycling system where they recycle basically everything?

Squirrel 06-26-2007 09:35 AM

Very very much so.

Even China does it better than us.

Surtr 06-26-2007 10:13 AM

Discuss the fact that, this summer, at the World Pipe Band Championships up in Glasgow..Our band is staying with SFU, who are one of the Top 3 Pipe Bands in the entire World. Let's basically put it into focus for all of you non-pipers..This is basically us hanging out with "The Beatles" when they were in their prime.

We're invited to ALL SFU Band Practices, including the ones that are Private practices (Where NO ONE except for about 20 Special Invite people are allowed in, and usually most bands don't give out any invites to these practices). We also basically get to hang out with them for 2 straight Weeks while in Glasgow.

Discuss amazing things happening. :)

Jev 06-26-2007 10:19 AM

What does SFU stand for?

ChodaBoy 06-26-2007 10:29 AM

Simon Fraser University?

Surtr 06-26-2007 10:35 AM

Aye.

Simon Fraser Uni.

Sorry forgot to state that.

Untitled 06-26-2007 10:37 AM

Finaly just booked my driving theory test, after a year of lessons lol.

Also, joined the gym, get inducted on Thursday, so itll give me something to do these summer holidays instead of my usual sitting on my arse shenanigans.
