I've had In My Life by The Beatles stuck in my head all day.

So I've gotten my little brother into CR, he loves Syd Barrett Floyd. The only downside to this is that he's always borrowing my cds without asking.

NP: Nights In White Satin

 but this way when he starts buying cd's you get too add them to your collection too :p. Me and my brother do that alot. :thumb:

MidnightRider 02-21-2006 02:22 PM

Well, he's 10 and has no way of making money, he's a complete freeloader. It doesn't bother me too much, his two best friends are obsessed with Green Day, so at least he's headed in the right direction.

PinkFreud 02-21-2006 04:31 PM

It's a great CD to listen to.

Broken Arrow 02-21-2006 05:47 PM

I'll agree to both those statements.

That bluesman guessing game on the back og the cover is cool too.

Woodstock 02-21-2006 06:04 PM

I have a 200MB bootleg Raw Blues by Hendrix. It went along with the Blues release I believe.

Krabsworth 02-21-2006 06:29 PM

I felt like crying when all those Dylan albums didn't work.

jpj 02-21-2006 06:43 PM

Wow, it's actually Joaquin Phoenix singing on the soundtrack. He's pretty good.

Badmoon 02-21-2006 07:04 PM

My computer crashed, and my itunes cannot be recovered.

There goes 500+ albums :(

To be honest, I'm not even processing this occurence -- too much hurt would come of it.

Lunch 02-21-2006 07:04 PM

Wow man, that's just terrible. I can't even comprehend it...

jpj 02-21-2006 07:06 PM

That happened to me once (well, something similar), but I don't think I had nearly that many albums.

robo2448 02-21-2006 07:07 PM

Man that just sucks. I don't know what I'd do if my computer crashed...

Did you try running system restore to try to get your music back?

np: Love Sculpture- Come Home Baby (excellent British blues-rock)

Badmoon 02-21-2006 07:09 PM

I now have 36 albums on my computer.

I still have most my Dead collection (luckily I had most of it on disc) and am recovering from my loss of If I Should Fall From Grace with God with the addition of Rum Sodomy & The Lash. :)
Did you try running system restore to try to get your music back?
no success so far.

Woodstock 02-21-2006 07:15 PM

Isn't there a way to put music from your Ipod back onto your computer?

Just sent out Amon Düül II's Yeti.

MBS 02-21-2006 07:35 PM
Isn't there a way to put music from your Ipod back onto your computer?
Yep, all your music is on your ipod already in a folder. Just tag it back to normal and you should be happy. If you don't there's a program that can put all your music on your computer.

Broken Arrow 02-21-2006 08:09 PM

I used a program to restore my music when my computer crashed not to long ago. I still lost the stuff I didn't haven my iPod but now I have more than ever.

Still, I only lost 350 albums thats a long ways from 500.

jpj 02-21-2006 08:12 PM

I'm listening to Erkin Koray right now, he's a Turkish guitarist. I downloaded the album off of the chocoreve blog. It's a bootleg so the quality is pretty bad, which is a shame because the music is great. I think I'll upload it.

PinkFreud 02-21-2006 08:17 PM

that chat ended abruptly.

cactus is a really cool band.

Against Miik! 02-21-2006 08:21 PM

Hurray for back up hard drives.

TheDMV 02-21-2006 08:32 PM

Has anyone seen Heart of Gold yet? Apparently it's got 4 stars.

Badmoon - That sucks :( Did your computer just crash without provocation?

Badmoon 02-21-2006 08:49 PM

Yea, but I should have seen it coming. That computer seemed pretty messed up to begin with; should've figured it was fixin' to stab me in the back.

JonG 02-21-2006 08:50 PM

Download EphPod. That's the best for getting songs from your iPod to your PC. Real fast too.

I could send some out if you need 'moon.

BigTrav415 02-21-2006 08:51 PM

I am so sorry 'moon :(

So it didn't just screw iTunes, it deleted the actual music files? because it might have cleared your library information, but it should have kept the actual files.

I'm willing to start uploading stuff for you right now bud.

Badmoon 02-21-2006 08:53 PM
I could send some out if you need 'moon.
Most likely unnecessary, but thanks :)

I'm just looking for Grievious Angel, and some other Pogue/Uncle Tupelo albums I don't already have. And maybe some Dub essentials.

JonG 02-21-2006 08:54 PM

That's why I don't use iTunes.

:)

Soulseek>

I have GP/Grevious Angel on CD if you want.
Just sent out Amon Düül II's Yeti.
hey man I didn't get the album. Could you please send it to :
grenz_erich@yahoo.com
thanks

Badmoon 02-21-2006 08:57 PM
I have GP/Grevious Angel on CD if you want.
Let me actually see if I have it on disc -- can't actually remember if I do.

I'll get back to you on that with an edit.

EDIT: Can't find. So if you're up for it, upload it whenever. :)

ATM 02-21-2006 08:59 PM

Ouch :-/

If I lost the 70+ gigs of music I have on my computer, I would cry like a school girl.
